"This was my second stay at Violet Hotel and it was as good as my first trip. I honestly love this hotel for its calm, quiet, and clean environment. It is ideal for families because of all its facilities, its breakfast buffet is a perfect blend of dishes, and its location is ideal for anyone performing Umrah. It has a 24/7 shuttle service and you can also get a cab for 10-15 riyals to Haram, which takes around 5 min. The shuttle drops you at the Ajyad street from there it's a 5-7 min walk to King Abdul Aziz Gate. The return spot is the same. Cabs usually drop you right at the Abdul Aziz Gate, no walk. So it's your choice. For the prices they charge, this hotel is excellent value for money. I happily prefer it over the hotels located near Haram but are crowded and don't offer much in terms of facilities"

"The bathroom had a bad smell and the drain kept getting clogged for no reason. The beds were broken, needed an upgrade, and made a lot of noise even though my sister is light. The breakfast was good on the first day, although some items were reheated. On the second day, it was good."

"Overall it is good, the lobby is luxurious and breakfast is good price with variety every day. However , the small kitchen in the hotel lobby provides sandwiches and drinks in good prices and quality too. I had to change the room we were assigned for as it wasn’t as clean as I would hope for, Anwar in the front desk, helped us and we had lovely room then. Sirag is a great help should you ever need any help with bags. In regard to location, I found it difficult to walk under the heat as it is a main road walk with cars and not as easy. However you can go with the bus provided from the hotel which I always used in the way to Haram, but never was able to get it in the way back to the hotel. I wasn’t able to get a clear idea on where from the bus departure."

"Our hotel room was spacious, however the old fashioned style gives an impression that the room isn’t very clean, and bathroom was mediocre. It isn’t too far from the Haram but it does require a 10/15 min walk through Anjum Hotel, and then another 5 minutes to get to Gate 79. One thing to consider is that the room doesn’t come with an iron and when requested from housekeeping, you cannot keep it your room permanently which is inconvenient. Overall, for the price, our stay was nice."

"The hotel is 5star the service the cleaning and also in very close to the HARAM , Really i travel a lot i didn’t seen some one like Mashhuur Al quraishi he’s receptionist day time he give very very good welcome and really very Thankful i was staying other hotels but this gentleman al-quraishi Make to come back this and i will soon with my family and friends also the night shift receptionist Mohamed Bagdady he’s very nice and good man also basaam the cofe shop also his welcoming man in general all those i seen they are nice people."

"I have ever been to most hotels with Kaaba view, and so far Safwah Tower 1 offers the best among all because it’s really close and not too tall so the Kaaba itself is bigger (the phone camera didnt capture it well enough). Every process was smooth, the breakfast was great, the only downside is that the room is not as clean as compared to the nearby competitors, but for the price I think that would not be a huge problem. Location is also great, the lift was very quick. This is our second time coming here and I trul recommend this hotel."

"Truly Deserves 5 Stars – Exceptional Stay at Selat Al Bait Hotel I recently stayed at Selat Al Bait Hotel for 7 nights, and I must say, this hotel deserves 5 stars, even though it’s officially rated 3. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the modern touches and excellent service. The rooms are thoughtfully designed with a smart dial system to control “Do Not Disturb” for room service. Daily housekeeping ensured fresh towels, shampoo, and clean linen whenever needed. The pillows were incredibly soft and comfortable, and the beds were cozy with clean sheets. Windows can be opened for fresh air, and my room overlooked the new Hajj walkway—a lovely view. The hotel has three lifts that always worked, making movement easy and convenient. Reception staff were very kind and helpful. Amenities include a gym, mosque, laundry service, and a decent breakfast. There’s a 24/7 shuttle to the Haram, and the hotel is just a 10-minute walk from the bus stop to the new Haram and 20 minutes to the Mataaf from the same stop . You can walk straight road to Haram in around 30-45 mins . Parking available for locals .. Other highlights: free coffee and desserts in the lobby, hot water, a large shower, modern toilets, and all toiletries like shampoo and razors supplied. Daily water bottles were also provided. The hotel is very clean, with no insects or cockroaches, and the surrounding shops are lovely and more affordable than those near the Haram. For taxis to Haram Darul Tawheed, a short ride costs around 15–20 riyals—just make sure to use only marked taxis. Overall, my stay was extremely comfortable and convenient. Selat Al Bait offers modern facilities, attentive service, and excellent cleanliness at a great value. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Makkah!"
