We are only 15 minutes away from Saddleback Ski Mountain, and only 45 minute drive to world class Sugarloaf USA ski resort. Just 5 minutes to Mingo Springs golf course, and 45 minutes to a championship course at Sugarloaf USA. Rangeley lakes area offers some of the nations best fly fishing in a number of lakes, ponds and streams all within 15 miles. You can spend the day doing any of the many activities the area has to offer, and then relax in the outdoor hot tub and watch the deer, moose, and turkeys pass through the yard.About the house: The house is newly constructed with the first floor offering hardwood and tile throughout. First floor has radiant heat and a stone faced propane fireplace. The granite kitchen has all of the amenities of home including a dishwasher. Escape it all at this cozy camp on the shores of quiet Quimby Pond. Camp has one bedroom with a queen bed and one full bathroom. There is also a futon in the living room. The fully equipped kitchen is open to the dining area and living room where you can sit and look out onto the pond. Outside there is large porch with a gas grill and a swing to sit in and listen to the loons call. There is also a pathway down to the pond where you could launch a canoe or kayak. Located right on Rangeley Lake with breathtaking views and walking distance to the downtown. Snowmobile trails can be accessed right from the front lawn. Saddleback Mountain is a short 8 mile drive. The cabin has been freshly renovated with granite counter tops in the kitchen and beautiful furniture. This property has a protected private boat dock and has a swimming area and swim dock for the summer fun. For the winter there is skiing with-in 15 minutes and there is direct access to the snowmobile trails. With three full baths this house makes it easy to get the family ready for what ever activities you have planned.There is a 75 acre wild life preserve, Rangeley Lakes Heritage Trust, with a hiking trail just outside the door. This is your view from the house and deck. You get to watch nature not other houses.Russell Cove is located just off of City Cove which is the center of Rangeley and is a great in town location. Town is just a walk a way but it does not feel like it when your on the deck.
