"Honestly, 100% recommended! If you’re staying in Chenzhou, this is the hotel to pick. The amenities and facilities are spotlessly clean and very new, and the entire staff is incredibly attentive and helpful. Location-wise, it’s a convenient 20-minute walk from Yuhou Street. A special thank you to Miss Zhang (张旭廷) for making my stay so wonderful and making me feel so welcomed. Because it was the low season, I was also treated to a lovely room upgrade (room 6666)! The breakfast was delicious and offered a very authentic taste of Chenzhou cuisine. I would definitely stay here again."

"I have to praise this hotel, the overall experience far exceeded expectations. The lobby environment is comfortable and elegant, and the fragrance is soothing and healing. The rooms are cleaned spotlessly, the corners and bathrooms are cleaned up, the bedding is soft and skin-friendly, the shading and sound insulation are very good, the night is quiet and not noisy, and the journey is completely relieved. The staff was polite and patient throughout the whole process, responded promptly, and the service was meticulous. The facilities are well maintained and the living comfort is full. It is suitable for business travel or tourist accommodation. It has been collected and the next trip is a priority."

"Dongjiang Lake is perfect for a relaxing trip. My friend and I compared several hotels before choosing this one, and its amenities and cleanliness perfectly met our expectations. We arrived quite late in the afternoon, and the owner, a truly wonderful and hospitable man, welcomed us as if we were family. I have to commend his excellent service! 👍 The room's floor was incredibly clean – a real treat for someone who loves walking barefoot. The room had absolutely no strange odors and the air felt very fresh. It even had a fresh air and dehumidification system, and surprisingly, their fresh air system is the same brand as mine at home, meaning both incoming and outgoing air are purified. The duvet was very dry, and all the towels and bath towels were disposable, even the toothbrush cups! You absolutely must try their shampoo; I loved it so much I bought a set from the owner to take home – it's really high-quality! We slept in quite late, completely oblivious to the time, thanks to the incredibly comfortable mattress – it turns out it's a Mousse mattress! Crucially, the soundproofing in this place is superb. Even though there's a walkway right downstairs, we couldn't hear a thing. The scenic area is just a short walk from the hotel's downstairs pathway. We didn't get to visit it, though, haha. The hotel is located right by the river, so you can enjoy the misty views from your room, and even from the hotel lobby. I travel many times a year and have a fair bit of experience choosing hotels. Lantingshu is the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in, and its facilities and amenities are the best I've encountered. It's truly a high-quality establishment. Trust me, you won't regret staying here!"

"This time, a few friends agreed to go out for a walk. For this reason, compared with many homestays, they finally decided to park Harajuku. After the stay, the whole process was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was close to the lower reaches of Xiaodongjiang. The location advantage of the river was full when I went out. The luck of this trip was excellent. The fog was foggy in Xiaodongjiang, and the morning mist was covered with the whole river. Water mist flows with the wind, the fisherman casts the net picture like a dream, perfect dream mist over the beautiful scenery of the East River. "A very elegant hotel! A picturesque hotel! Very attentive staff! A hotel you'd want to stay in forever! Ample parking is available in front of the hotel. The hotel staff at the front desk are highly professional. Because we visited during the off-season, they proactively upgraded our 180° deluxe lake-view room to a family room. The room was a spacious 50 square meters, well-laid out, with a four-person tea table by the window where you could play cards, drink tea, and enjoy the view of the Xiaodong River. At night, you can take a boat trip from the pier opposite the hotel to enjoy the night view of the Dongjiang River. Tickets must be purchased at the hotel front desk; it's 25 yuan cheaper per person than buying them at the pier. There's a restaurant behind the hotel called ”Benyu Xiaoyuan” (笨鱼小院), where you can eat. The food is decent, but those who prefer less salt should tell the chef to add less. Highly recommended!!"

This stay was fantastic! I brought my kids here for a winter break trip, and the front desk staff was so thoughtful, providing children's slippers and toothbrushes. When we checked out, they even gave the kids a small gift bag with toys and snacks, which they loved. The housekeeping staff was also great, providing extra pillows and blankets for us. The hotel has a gym and laundry room on the same floor, which was very convenient to use. Food delivery was brought to our room by a robot, and I highly recommend the fish noodle soup for breakfast – the Hunan rice noodles were truly delicious! We'll definitely be back.

I have to give a huge shout-out to Holiday Inn Express! During my stay, I needed to print some documents for work, and the front desk not only printed them for me but also had a robot deliver them to my room. The soundproofing in the room was fantastic too; even though it faced the street, I couldn't hear any noise at all, which is a godsend for a light sleeper like me. This level of service definitely deserves a five-star recommendation!

Very impressed by the 2 front desk ladies who helped us changed our 3 nights booking to 2 nights. Didn't get their names, they worked the noon shift, 12-8pm, on 11 Dec 2025. They could not understand Trip.com English and used a translation app to navigate through the otherwise fixed booking that did not allow for changes. It was a long process and they were very patient throughout. Great service, highly recommended 👏

Traveling to Chenzhou by car, I knew the hotel's location was perfect for getting around. Parking in the backyard was a relief. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bathroom had no strange water odors. The staff were very warm and helpful; any issues could be brought to the front desk and were generally resolved. There were plenty of local food options nearby, right outside the door, and the environment was also good. After a good night's rest, we were ready to continue exploring the next day. Overall, it was a very good stay.

The room was a bit small. We booked a family room for four people, and it included breakfast for four, but there were only two sets of disposable toiletries in the room. We had to ask the hotel for more. The hotel lobby was nice, and the breakfast was excellent; we were very satisfied. I especially loved the rice wine dumplings – not too sweet – and the 'Killing Pig' noodles were also quite good. It was truly a lifesaver to have a hot breakfast during Chinese New Year when it was hard to find food anywhere else. Usually, family rooms only offer breakfast for two, so I was very pleased that this one offered it for four, which was a major reason I chose to book here. They also gave us a small gift when we checked in, which was a nice touch. Just a suggestion: the room had a two-seater sofa, one chair, and a very small table, which isn't ideal for people who order takeout to eat in the room. Since they provide breakfast for four, they know there are four guests, yet there's only seating for three and not enough disposable toiletries. Also, there was a rumbling noise throughout the night, possibly from the ventilation system, and I'm not sure what it was.

Generally speaking, it's pretty good. The aromatherapy in the lobby smells good. When you enter the lobby, the waiter will greet you warmly. There are greetings when you go in and out, which is very good. You feel valued. The hotel has free parking, both open-air and underground. You can take the elevator directly to the hotel lobby. The bedding is very soft. Because I am pregnant, I sleep very comfortably. It is all latex. Later, I asked the waiter if the hotel sells it. The sound insulation effect is also very good. I recommend everyone to book a room with a view. This one has floor-to-ceiling windows facing Wuling Square. The lighting is very good. Before 9:30 in the evening, you can see uncles and aunts dancing in the square opposite. It is also a unique flavor hahaha. Remember to go to the front desk to get the parking ticket when you check out! A very satisfying stay

Stepping into the hotel, you immediately feel like you're on vacation. The room is spacious and tastefully decorated, and the two queen-sized beds (1.5 meters) were very comfortable. Plus, booking the hotel also included two complimentary tickets to Gaoyiling.

The room was clean and hygienic, the service was excellent, the welcome snacks were good, and the bathroom was especially large and comfortable.
