This B&B I stayed in during my visit to Jiuhua Mountain was a pleasant surprise. The price/performance ratio was very high. The yard was beautifully decorated. This is probably the most upscale hotel in Jiuhua Mountain. I noticed they also host various large-scale corporate events. It's not located on the mountain within the scenic area, so it's more suitable for guests with a car. The hot spring experience was decent; the outdoor pools were more comfortable than the indoor ones, and the sauna got me a good sweat. My only minor complaint is that for a two-night stay, they didn't provide fresh bathrobes on the second day. The restaurant food was quite good, better than what you find outside, especially the noodle soup – I was very satisfied. The ambiance is also great, and the garden and lawn at the entrance are perfect for relaxing. Recommended!

I chose the family room at Yuanhang Hotel based on Ctrip reviews and its proximity to the Cultural Park. The room itself was decent. However, the hotel seemed to have very few guests, resulting in no air conditioning in common areas like the lobby and corridors. It was sweltering hot the moment you stepped out of your room. Additionally, our room was quite a distance from the elevator, and we'd be drenched in sweat just walking there. While I can understand conserving electricity due to low occupancy, the entire hotel felt deserted. Breakfast was also very subpar, with one of the salted duck eggs even being spoiled. The only redeeming quality was the Chinese restaurant, which offered good food and generous portions. Despite the staff being very friendly, the overall state of the hotel's facilities severely impacted our stay, making for an unpleasant experience. I had initially hoped to walk to the Cultural Park, but it was too hot, so we ended up taking a taxi for a flat rate of 10 RMB. This effectively negated the benefit of the hotel's location for walking. I believe this hotel might be more suitable for guests visiting Mount Jiuhua who prioritize being close to the visitor center.

On our departure day, we could leave our luggage at the front desk. Later, after we came down from the mountain, a simple call to the hotel was enough, and they sent staff to deliver our luggage to us. Highly recommended.
