The room was very spacious, with plenty of room! Huazhu Hotels (H World Group) brands never disappoint! Right across from the hotel, there are so many delicious restaurants – you could eat at a different one every day for a week and still not try them all. It's incredibly convenient, and Qinghui Garden is right next door.

The service was excellent throughout my stay. The reception staff 🥰 Miss 植敏霞 and everyone were very friendly, helpful, and professional. Absolutely fantastic! The room was incredibly spacious with a well-designed layout. All the bedding was spotless. The front desk staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Breakfast offered a wide and nutritious variety, and the gym was noticeably larger than those at several nearby hotels.

The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and proactively asked if I wanted to switch to a garden-view room. The pillows are good; I even use Atour pillows at home.

First impressions The lobby sets the tone immediately. It’s clean, well-presented and the staff are genuinely professional. As an English speaker with only basic Mandarin, I was a little nervous about communication, but the front desk team went above and beyond with translation and made me feel completely at ease. That kind of hospitality is hard to fake. The Room My room was impressively clean overall. The only thing I’d flag is the carpet, which felt like it could use a deeper steam clean. Nothing alarming, and perfectly fine with slippers, but worth mentioning. The air conditioning though? Absolutely elite. Strong, reliable and a lifesaver. Facilities The fifth floor amenities are a real highlight. The gym has brand new equipment, fresh towels and complimentary water ready to go. I spent some solid time on the cardio machines and had zero complaints. The laundry room is also genuinely impressive — four washers, four dryers, plenty of seating, steamers and a dedicated ironing area. Very thoughtfully set up. Food The hotel has several dining options on-site. I tried the dim sum and it was solid. Good variety, good quality and a nice atmosphere. The One Thing That Needs Work Wi-Fi. For younger travellers especially, reliable internet is non-negotiable. Whether it was for remote work or just streaming, the speeds were consistently disappointing. Upload and download were both underwhelming. My cellular signal wasn’t great either, but I’d expect the hotel Wi-Fi to compensate for that, not add to the frustration. Final Verdict This is a hotel that genuinely nails the hospitality side of things. It’s clean, the staff are warm and professional, and the facilities are well above average. Sort out the Wi-Fi and this is easily a five-star experience across the board. I’d absolutely come back next time I’m in Danzao.

While the overall footprint was a bit cozy, it was exceptionally well-appointed with all the essential amenities. The service was prompt and courteous throughout our stay. It is a fantastic, high-value choice for both business travelers and weekend sightseers alike.

The room decor was really old-fashioned. I booked an executive king room, but the amenities were exactly the same as a deluxe king, which didn't match the photos online. There was a musty smell when I first entered the room. The staff later moved me to another room, but it seemed like they had just sprayed air freshener, as the scent was quite strong. Also, the advertised Kung Fu tea set was missing. Overall, it was a very poor experience.
