"The room was very clean, and I did not notice any areas that felt dirty during my stay. The location is excellent for anyone who has business at the university. However, for tourists, it may be less convenient, as there is no nearby metro or train station and traveling around requires taking a taxi. For me, since I was visiting a friend who studies at the university, the location was perfect. The staff were cheerful, friendly, and very helpful throughout my stay. The room was well equipped with most of the necessary amenities. The only thing missing was a refrigerator. Surprisingly (and amusingly), there was even laundry detergent provided 😂, which was a nice and unexpected touch."

"The room is very good. At this price, Donggu Hotel is a landmark hotel in Chang'an Town and even Haining. The hotel service is also very good. "Located outside the Chaole City scenic area, it's convenient to reach the popular tide-watching wall. Check-in and individual guest registration are all done at the visitor center, which is a bit noisy and slightly detracts from the overall experience. However, the service at the Shuishi Hotel was impeccable. The receptionist led me to my room, proactively helped with my luggage, and informed me about the scenic area's entry and exit points and tide-watching times. The bed linens had some stains, which were promptly replaced. Luggage check-in was also very convenient the next day. The room was new and clean, but the family room only had one footstool; I suggest adding more. Due to the large number of guests during the National Day holiday, the adjacent Chinese restaurant's lobby was open for breakfast. Room bookings included tickets to Chaole City and the Tide-Watching Park. There were also many dining options within the scenic area, making it a good choice. I'd like to try some of the other hotels in the scenic area next time."

"I was on a business trip. I left my backpack with Apple laptop, cash in multiple currencies, passport, handphone in it on the side of the street in front of the hotel, where the Didi pick up was.  I realised this only upon arrival of Hangzhou Airport (1 hour+ drive from the hotel). Immediately call the hotel FO and he managed to get it back from the street and safekeeping it until another Didi pick up and send to me in airport. If any management member see this post, please praise the FO. The incident was on 21/1/2025 around 8am. "

"Location: Just a 3-5 minute walk from the scenic area entrance and the Tide Wall. Since Shuiyin Inn and Dengying Inn are part of the Shuishi Hotel chain, check-in and check-out must be done at the front desk of the adjacent Shuishi Hotel. The room rate includes three tickets and unlimited shuttle bus rides, making it a very reasonable price. Breakfast: Also served on the first floor of the Shuishi Hotel. Being located outside the scenic area makes it very quiet at night, with only guests from three other hotels frequenting the area. The bedding and sleeping environment are also very good. Areas for improvement (the kind where the flaws don't outweigh the advantages): ❶ The Shuiyin Family Room we stayed in didn't have a small refrigerator. I wonder if other rooms have them. A small refrigerator is quite necessary, especially during the summer, when there's an increasing demand for family rooms to store children's food or adults to keep cold drinks/food. ❷ The entrance to Shuiyin Inn is tucked away in a corner, and we initially thought we'd taken the wrong side door. Instead of requiring time-consuming and laborious manual guidance (especially during peak holiday season), consider placing signage with images or text indicating important information like how to check in at the Shuishi Hotel to avoid confusion. ❸ The small door at Shuiyin Inn is accessible freely. A short walk away is the side gate for the neighboring residential complex, and we saw residents using electronic access cards to enter and exit directly. Although the main gate is locked at night and is generally quite safe, it would be even more reassuring if Shuiyin Inn could install an electronic door (using room or work card). After all, as the scenic area becomes increasingly popular, this could be a safety concern. In general, all the hotel staff are very warm and thoughtful, and their main feature is ”lively eyes”, and the overall experience is still very good."

"Best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The room is high-tech, I got an amazing view with floor-to-ceiling windows. There’s a Dyson hair dryer in the room, and the room aesthetics were cool. Hotel is right beside a giant shopping mall (Yintai City), and there are many amenities. Gym and self-service laundry are free and available 24/7, and your room can monitor the progress of the laundry. Overall just super value-for-money and an absolute steal."
