Our stay at Yunlu Hotel during our summer escape to Songhua Lake exceeded all expectations, and I genuinely recommend it to anyone visiting the resort area. A huge shoutout to the front desk lady, especially, who even lent us her own clothes when the weather turned cold! The hotel is centrally located within the resort, offering a 24/7 shuttle service, making trips to the lake incredibly convenient. The decor is simple yet luxurious, the rooms are spotless, and come equipped with smart home features and zero-pressure mattresses. The double balconies directly face the mountains and lake, allowing you to wake up to stunning views of the green mountains and the lake. The scenic bathtub adds a fantastic touch to the ambiance. The facilities are comprehensive, including a gym, laundry room with dryers, and a coffee bar. Thoughtful details like humidifiers and a well-stocked minibar are also provided. The front desk staff are warm and attentive, promptly responding to any requests and offering helpful guidance throughout our stay. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent, ensuring a quiet and peaceful night's sleep. This hotel is perfectly suited for family vacations; the environment, service, and value for money are all top-notch. We'll definitely choose this place again on our next visit to Songhua Lake.

One whiff and I nearly cancelled the stay on the spot. Room Rescue Cue Mr Hong Dejian—calm, English-speaking, and clutching the keys to redemption. He patiently showed me alternative rooms until we found one that didn’t smell like a poker night. Had I left, I would’ve missed what came next. Comfort Food = Home Dinner delivered a miracle: stewed chicken with potatoes and mushrooms. One bite and—boom—mummy’s cooking. After days on the road, I finally found food in China that tasted like home. Tail wagging resumed. Care Beyond the Call Mr Hong returned with a portable heater, pointed out city landmarks, and even taught me how to take a non-reflective photo (yes, this dog learns fast). His easy friendliness softened the edges of dirty window panes and mostly Mandarin-only staff. I even showed him the ink-black towel after wiping the window—evidence, not barking. Menu Meltdown & A Win At the restaurant, I was handed a Chinese-only menu after saying I don’t speak Mandarin. I hit the roof. To their credit, reception listened: I received a call from the lady boss, and the issue was acknowledged. Then a hero appeared—the restaurant lady, who patiently translated dish names so I could choose lunch and dinner without guesswork. Gold bone earned. City Interlude: Jilin Catholic Church Between meals and meetings, I visited Jilin Catholic Church (吉林耶稣圣心堂)—a quiet pause from hotel hiccups. The church offered a moment of stillness, a reminder that even on a bumpy stay, the city holds pockets of grace. Logistics That Worked Back at the desk, the reception lady manager efficiently arranged my transport to Wusong Island—quick, competent, and reassuring. Breakfast & The Fine Print Breakfast surprised me in the best way: healthy, balanced, a thoughtful mix of local and Western dishes. One final bone to chew—early booking didn’t pay off as prices dropped later. A truly Winning Hotel would honour the lower rate at check-in. Verdict Despite communication bumps, this is a solid winter hideout: good Songhua River views, comforting food, and fast service when it counts. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, the service was warm, the location was convenient, the price was super high, it was recommended! The environment is quiet and tidy, the front desk check-in is fast, the facilities are complete, and the stay experience is great. The location is excellent, it is convenient to travel and eat, the health is in place, and the living is very comfortable.

The environment is first-class, the accommodation conditions are great, and the service is very friendly. The lady at the front desk is very nice. The room is clean and tidy, and it’s a great value. I didn’t expect to spend such a small amount of money to stay in such a high-end hotel. It’s a very value-for-money experience.

Health service: Very average. After staying for several days, there was no cleaning or replacement of toiletries, bath towels or towels on the first day. I had to go to the store to communicate with the front desk at night to get them done temporarily. The bed was not made during cleaning the next day, only toiletries were changed. Front desk service: Unskilled, unable to open the door every night when I come back, I have to go to the front desk to get a card. Parking service: There was no underground parking lot at the beginning, but when it opened later, parking on the ground was not allowed. They kept saying that it was not possible on the ground, and other people's cars could be parked in front of me, and they were treated differently. Hardware facilities: Some elevators require card swiping, while others do not. The system has not been debugged yet. On the plus side, the overall hotel appearance, rooms, and lobby hardware are of high quality. It should be very good in Huadian. I hope the soft services can keep up.

This hotel is considered one of the top hotels in Jilin City. From the lobby to the guest rooms, the facilities and amenities are all excellent! The front desk service is warm and the cleanliness is meticulous! The breakfast is delicious. Most importantly, parking is convenient; the parking lot is huge and free. A great experience, highly recommended!

Our family booked six rooms for a group trip, and the overall experience was consistently excellent! The hotel's environment was clean and well-maintained. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and fully equipped, making for a very comfortable stay. During our visit, we encountered extreme heavy rain, which caused all cable car attractions to shut down, threatening to ruin our planned itinerary. However, the hotel staff were incredibly helpful. They quickly arranged alternative leisure activities for us, expertly handling the sudden weather issue and ensuring everyone in our group still had a great time. Professional, reliable, and with thoughtful service, this hotel is highly recommended for multi-person group travel!

This is a very good hotel. My mother and two babies are very happy. The hotel rooms are very luxurious, much better than the hotels of the same price in the south. The service quality, especially Wang Bing from the front office, made us feel at home. She was very enthusiastic and explained clearly all the questions we didn't understand. Just because of Wang Bing, I will stay here again when I go back to Jilin.

The hotel restaurant was fantastic, with fresh ingredients and flavorful cooking. It's also conveniently located near attractions.
