"This is my second time visiting Mile, and I still chose this hotel. The room was clean and tidy, with complete facilities. The breakfast was plentiful, and there's free parking. The hot spring pools are a highlight. Highly recommended!"

"This is a very nice hotel with lovely public rooms. We had rooms overlooking the lake which had no traffic noise, just a pleasant view of people enjoying the lakeside. The room was well appointed with a very comfortable bed. The screen between the bed/living area and the bathroom was a bit strange - it was quite see-through. The breakfast was fine - with some western food and nice fruit. The staff were pleasant and helpful, especially the lady who tried to explain the washing machine to me. It was a bit of a shame that the spa didn't allow couples to be together at all. They could perhaps offer a mixed session during the evening."

"I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, particularly because of its quiet atmosphere and attention to detail. The room I stayed in featured an onsen-style bathtub combined with a shower area, and I appreciated that the hotel provided a bottle of sanitizing solution to enhance hygiene and guest comfort. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean and well maintained. The hotel also offers self-service laundry facilities, including washing machines and dryers on the rooftop, which is very convenient for longer stays. Guests are also welcome to use the rooftop onsen pool, providing a relaxing experience after a day of sightseeing. Although the rooms do not come with a minibar, the hotel compensates by offering complimentary ice cream and additional bottled drinking water at the reception level. While the ice cream was not delicious, the extra refreshments were a thoughtful touch. It will be good if the hotel not to allow guests smoke in common area such as dining hall for breakfast. Overall, this hotel stands out for its peaceful environment, cleanliness, convenient access to food and park, and thoughtful amenities at very reasonable room rate. I would gladly stay here again."

"Before checking in, staff proactively reached out to me. The hotel is located inside the scenic area, so you don't need to buy a separate entrance ticket, and the internal shuttle service is also included. The night view of Dongfengyun is absolutely stunning! We stayed in the annex building, 'Reading Post,' which is on a slope, separated from the main building by a small path. The breakfast was very good, and the room had a unique character."

"I am very fortunate to have chosen to be willing among the many hotels in Maitreya. This is a small hotel with the quality of star hotels. From small to large toiletries to hotel design, from intimate and exquisite meals to comfortable and modern facilities in the room, you can see the requirements and taste of the hotel manager. Almost every public corner of this hotel can take good-looking photos. The hotel is located in a beautiful park and it is great to run in the morning. It is very close to Qian Wangmen and the food street. There is also an exclusive parking space in the underground garage. The staff will call in advance to contact the guests to pick up the guests and pick up the luggage. Breakfast will have a nutritious and simple set menu to choose from, which makes people feel intimate everywhere. Coffee is always available, self-service production is not worse than the coffee shop, saving two days of coffee money. The hotel will give attractions routes and some dining recommendations very good. There is also a private soup to soak, and the staff is washing and brushing early in the morning every day. A little troublesome is that the bathroom has no door (it is said that the door is ready to be added), even if the couple walks back and forth and sees the other half squatting in the toilet, I am afraid it is embarrassing. "Booked a private hot spring twin room. The bathroom has a small private hot tub that fills up in a few minutes with a strong water flow, so I could finally let the kids splash around freely without worry. The swimming pool, public hot springs, and laundry room are all on the fifth floor. Breakfast and the small kids' play area are on the first floor. Besides hot dishes and cold cuts, they also offer braised chicken rice noodles and pea flour soup, which was very abundant and satisfied both adults and children."

"The overall stay experience is still very good, the room is clean and tidy, the facilities are arranged in an orderly manner, it is comfortable to look at, the service attitude of the front desk and the room is also very good, the response is timely, the hospitality is warm, the overall feeling is intimate and thoughtful. The only fly in the ointment is that the sound insulation problem is more obvious, especially when other guests on the same floor enter and exit the room, the door is particularly loud, often a loud sound of ”cockroaches”, no warning, it is easy to be suddenly shocked. Fortunately during the day, when the night is quiet, this sound is particularly harsh, and the frequent sound of closing doors seriously affects the rest. From time to time, it will be awakened by a shock. People who sleep lightly are really a bit difficult to adapt. I hope that the hotel can make some improvements in the shock absorption and sound insulation of the door in the future, such as adding anti-collision strips, reminding guests to close the door lightly, etc., otherwise no matter how good the environment and service, it will be greatly discounted due to noise problems."

"When traveling with my girlfriend, the most important thing is the hotel, followed by the food. I've been to Mile many times, and honestly, the hotels there are generally quite good. But this time, the Mountain Retreat was a truly delightful surprise. The service was on par with a five-star international hotel. From the welcome gift to the hotel's amenities, everything made for a wonderful stay. The lobby design is a wonderful blend of Chinese and Western elements. It's spacious, and the hand-drip coffee is excellent! The hot spring on the first floor has both public and private pools, and importantly, it's very well-ventilated—not stuffy at all! Since I drove there, I parked right next to the hotel, making it convenient to go out and explore. What surprised me most was the body lotion provided by the hotel; it smelled amazing! I only used half a bottle, but I took the rest home to find the same product online, haha. It wasn't cheap, but it was definitely worth the price. In my opinion, a truly good value experience is what I call value for money! I didn't take pictures of the room because we arrived too late and slept in a mess. You can see other people's pictures. Clean and luxurious!"

"The room I booked was exactly as pictured, spacious, stylishly decorated, and well-equipped. It was spotlessly clean, not a speck of dust in sight. They even upgraded me to a hot spring room with an indoor tub for free! The front desk staff were excellent – attentive, friendly, gentle, and thoughtful. The hotel's location is superb, right next to Huquan Ecological Park, just a 2-minute walk across the road. Dining options are incredibly convenient; turning right out of the hotel onto Wenquan Road, there are many fantastic local restaurants serving delicious dishes like 'Luji' (local chicken) and 'Guoqiao Mixian' (crossing-the-bridge noodles). There were only two minor drawbacks. Firstly, being close to the road, there was some traffic noise, but the hotel provided earplugs, and it was much better with the window closed. Secondly, and I found this quite odd and unreasonable, all TV programs (including CCTV news) required paid subscriptions, even if the cost wasn't high. I hope they can improve this. Also, it would be great if the gym could provide towels and bottled water for guests to wipe off sweat and rehydrate. Overall, this is a high-quality hotel that I highly recommend. If I ever visit Mile again, I would definitely choose to stay here."

"Traveling in Yunnan with my kids for a week, we stayed at three hotels: Wyndham Grand, Naga.S, and Atour. Atour was by far our favorite! 👍👍 During this peak travel season, at the other two hotels, I had to wake up every night in the early hours to do laundry, because that was the only time I could find an available washing machine. Then I'd have to time it perfectly to get to the dryer. I barely got any sleep. I honestly thought all hotels were like this, until I got to Atour and found out their laundry room has staff who do it for you! You just drop off your clothes with your room number, and they wash, dry, and fold them, then deliver them to your room. That's absolutely amazing! Plus, the hotel's environment, cleanliness, and breakfast were all excellent. The other two hotels should really take some notes!"
