"The front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful. We were traveling with a child, and they helped set up a bed rail and even gave us extra bottles of water, which was really helpful for making formula. The hotel environment is fantastic, and it's just a few minutes' walk from the high-speed train station. There's also a mall within two kilometers, which is very convenient. The late-night congee was also quite good. Overall, a great stay!"

"The room was excellent, very grand, and had a vintage feel; it was a very prestigious luxury five-star hotel from over a decade ago. The decor and facilities reflected this vintage atmosphere. The water pressure from the taps was strong and plentiful, and the drains were unclogged and odorless. The location was also excellent, offering views of the century-old Dongjie Street and the Beijiang River. The breakfast wasn't extensive, but it was much better than typical chain hotels, and I was quite full. The receptionist was very polite, and the other staff were also very helpful. The only slightly eerie thing was the presence of a middle-aged man. We went to bed very late last night, and when I woke up groggily, I felt a middle-aged man walk into the door. I tried to call my sister, but couldn't. I wondered if he might be... He started to move, and then I realized he was fighting for control of my body. I felt like I was struggling, kicking, and screaming, but I couldn't make a sound. Later, I got really hungry, so I told him we had fried rice on the table for lunch and we could go eat it. After a while, I realized I could move again, so I got up, immediately turned on the light, and rummaged through my bag, taking out all the amulets inside. My sister asked me what I was doing, but I didn't dare tell her for fear of scaring her. I said it would be easier to sleep if I laid them out. Then I turned on the hallway light, and it took me a long time to fall asleep. I stay in so many hotels every year, but this is the only thing I've never really experienced before. It was so scary. Our room number ended in 26, and I can't say which floor it was. Then I remembered that the hotel didn't have a room with the number 4, so I avoided the possibility of starving to death with room number 24. It was terrifying."

"Decent hotel for the area. Room is relatively clean and the water pressure is surprisingly strong. Staff are friendly enough and room service is quick. The river side view is fantastic and it's nice to go for a walk alongside it. Not much in the area so it's good to have breakfast at the hotel - a basic meal. It's a good choice for people who enjoy the quiet and don't mind travelling a bit to head into the city center."

"Driving back to Guangzhou from Zhuzhou, we decided to rest for a night in Shaoguan. This Holiday Inn is conveniently located just 3 kilometers off the highway. It's a relatively new hotel. When checking in, the two young ladies at the front desk, Sophia and Lucy, were incredibly friendly and charming, always smiling. They even helped us with a room upgrade and gave us a small gift, really understanding what guests need. Our room was spotless and tidy, the bed was super comfortable, and it was very quiet outside the window, so we had a wonderful night's sleep. Breakfast the next morning didn't have a huge variety, but there was still enough to find what you liked. For just over 300 a night, the value for money is pretty good. After breakfast, we drove to Nanhua Temple, which only took about 17 minutes."

"I've stayed in Shaoguan several times, and this is by far the best hotel. Firstly, the location is great, close to the Mall City. Secondly, the hotel is new, and all the facilities are excellent. There are a couple of downsides though: first, people who aren't hotel guests can also use the pool, making the crowd a bit mixed. Second, the charging stations in the parking lot and on the ground floor are just for show; I had to drive to Sinopec to charge my car. I hope they can improve this."

It is very quiet and will not affect our sleep. My friends and I like it very much. If you are considering coming to Shaoguan to play, you can stay here. There are many restaurants and shops nearby, offering a wide variety of dining and shopping options. The hotel itself is very new, and the lobby's aroma was very pleasant. The room was spacious, the hallways were wide, and the elevators were large. The entire place was clean, and all facilities were well-equipped. The staff were professional and enthusiastic, and food deliveries could be sent to the room by a delivery robot. Overall, it's great value for money, perfect for business trips or leisure travel. Highly recommended!"

"I just booked this hotel randomly, and as soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the familiar scent of lavender. We often use lavender diffusers at home too, so I instantly felt relaxed. The guy at the front desk was super genuine; check-in took less than two minutes, and he even proactively told us about a great local restaurant nearby that locals frequent, completely unlike a typical sales pitch. We stayed in a king room, and it was spotless inside. The sheets and duvet covers felt really comfortable, and the pillows were soft. There was absolutely no noise at night, and I slept soundly until morning. The shower water heated up quickly, and the water pressure was good – a hot shower was incredibly refreshing. The biggest surprise was the location: just a few steps downstairs to the riverside. Taking a walk and enjoying the breeze in the evening was fantastic. There are snack shops all around, and if you get hungry late at night, delivery arrives in about fifteen minutes. Plus, parking is free if you're driving. The value for money here is truly unbeatable!"
