"We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Emion Sapporo! The location is super convenient—just a 9-minute walk from Sapporo Station, with an underground passage so you don't even have to go above ground. This made it so easy to take a 45-minute train ride to Royce Cacao & Chocolate Town. There's also a nice soba restaurant next door and a 24-hour 7-Eleven accessible from inside the hotel—very handy! The breakfast buffet was outstanding, with daily specials that changed each morning. We loved the mix of Japanese and Western dishes, but the milk pudding with caramel sauce was absolutely divine—a must-try! The room was a comfortable size and had everything we needed. Highly recommend this hotel as a great base to explore Sapporo. We would definitely stay again!"

"Overall, no major issues, and the service attitude was very polite. Thank you for arranging the room. However, I'd like to highlight some hygiene concerns: 1. There was a drop of urine stain on the toilet seat. I disinfected it myself with an alcohol wipe. 2. Although the bath towels looked new, I noticed some dust and stains on them. 3. Many hotels have this problem: the headboard is never wiped down. Generally, when guests lie in bed, their oily heads often rest against the headboard, making the contact area quite unhygienic. I also wiped this down myself with an alcohol wipe. You're welcome. The location is decent, not on the main road so it's relatively quiet. There's an underground passage to Sapporo Station, so if you want to avoid the wind and sun, you might consider a hotel even closer. The hotel door card is an actual key 🔑. While retro and charming, it can also be a bit inconvenient: you have to hand it in for safekeeping when you leave the hotel and retrieve it again when you return. As an introvert, I'd rather not bother the front desk constantly."

"This was our second stay at this hotel, and overall everything was very good. However, I would appreciate if the management could be a little more flexible regarding check-in timing and parking charges. We arrived at around 2:15pm, which was only about 45 minutes before the official check-in time of 3pm. We completely understood if the room was not yet ready and were perfectly happy to wait. We only asked whether we could park our car at the hotel car park first. Unfortunately, the front desk lady was quite unhelpful and insisted that if we parked before 3pm, we would need to pay the 24-hour parking rate of 1800 yen instead of the standard 1500 yen rate (3pm to 11am the next day). We even explained that we would be checking out before 9am the next morning. Since she was very firm on this, we decided to simply wait at the lobby instead. Interestingly, around 2:40pm, we noticed some Japanese guests arriving and checking in. Shortly after that, another very kind staff member approached us and informed us that our room was already ready and that we could proceed to check in and park our car. I genuinely try not to view situations through the lens of unfair treatment, but I do hope the management could sometimes exercise a little flexibility and discretion on a case-by-case basis, especially when guests are arriving only slightly earlier than the official check-in time."

"I had a very pleasant stay at Mitsui Garden Hotel Sapporo. The hotel is conveniently located near Sapporo Station, making it very easy to get around, especially with luggage. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay, which made the experience even better. Check-in and check-out were smooth. Overall, it was a good stay and I would consider coming back again on my next trip to Sapporo."

"The hotel facilities are complete, and both the room and public areas are clean and tidy. The staff are very friendly and explain things clearly and understandably. The lobby offers 24-hour self-service drinks, with beverages, coffee, and ice cream available during specific hours. The breakfast spread is rich and definitely worth trying."

"We stayed for 2 nights, and had a pleasant stay. The hotel is 3 mins walk to Susukino and 5 mins walk to 狸小路 with many convenient stores and restaurants around. The front desk staff helped us to check in with the check in machine and the process was fast. We like the beds and room size, and the free flow of Haskap juice throughout afternoon and evening. The drawbacks are the front desk staff have limited English and didn’t understand our request to have a cleanup in our room as we were sleeping late and missed morning cleanup. The nearest airport shuttle bus stop across from hotel abest Sapporo is 4 blocks away and we have to take a taxi around 950yen with luggages to get there in the slushy snow. There are many Thai tourists in both evenings when we went back to hotel so the hotel is quite popular and crowded. Nevertheless the hotel was able to give us a high floor room away from elevators per our request and we had a quiet room which we appreciate a lot. Will definitely consider staying again given the hotel room is a good price!"

"We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, then left our luggage here while we spent a night at a hot spring hotel in Noboribetsu, before returning for another 2 nights. The front desk staff were extremely thoughtful and helpful in storing our luggage and making all the arrangements smoothly. We stayed in a triple room, which was said to be the largest available. However, for 3 people, it did feel a little bit small. Unfortunately, the breakfast restaurant was closed for upgrade for a month, so we only had the chance to enjoy it once. That was a bit of a pity."

"Location is excellent, right amongst the main shopping malls, seafood markets, restaurants and commercial streets. You can see the TV tower from some of the rooms and the rooftop barbecue site. The check-in process is however painfully slow. The staff forgot to give us water (supposedly one would receive one bottle per night per person at the reception). The room card we received was also not working... The room albeit clean and tidy was rather barebone and small. It's quite rare nowadays to have a hotel of this pricing not to offer a TV. The breakfast was also very simple. 4 types of crepes. And some very limited choices of food items. I would recommend this hotel to people looking for a quick resting spot with easy access to main visiting spots and having no high requirements for hotel amenities."
