"We only stayed for one night and checked in late in the evening. The check in process was quite simple and fast, they also provided the bed for a baby upon request (we forgot to book it in advance). The breakfast was really nice, lots of options and great coffee!"

"The duty Manager, Victoria, was great and very accommodating. It was our wedding anniversary and Victoria accommodated our request for a view facing Table Mountain. We were very happy about that. The housekeeping staff were brilliant, always smiling and joyful to all guests making them feel welcome. In terms of the restaurant/breakfast area, it was quite disappointing as we noticed some guests receiving more attention than others, and at times, felt as though we were ignored and invisible. Unfortunately, on our last day, we bit into a sharp and hard piece of what seemed like bottle plastic in the food from the buffet section. When alerting the restaurant staff, they did not really seem bothered about the danger it had should we have swallowed it."

"I had heard it was in a not-so-safe area, but there were no issues as cars could pull right up to the hotel entrance, and there's a security guard at the parking entrance, which made traveling by ride-sharing app perfectly fine. However, I'd definitely advise against walking, even for short distances. The staff were very helpful, and my stay was comfortable. I was too lazy to go out, so I ate at the hotel's restaurant several times, and it was excellent – delicious and inexpensive. I'd love to stay here again when I next visit Cape Town. I've attached photos of the delicious burger and T-bone steak I had at the restaurant."

"Come to Simon Town, South Africa to see Penguins choose this niche Linhai B&B. The overall experience is very good. I will tell you the real stay experience in points, all dry goods! We came by car. The hotel is about an hour's drive from the center of Simon Town. The sea scenery along the road is beautiful, but the location of the hotel is relatively biased. The first time I came, it was a bit difficult to find. The whole building is a retro single-family cottage, the number of rooms is small, the atmosphere is full, and the ancient literary style is particularly popular. The disadvantage is that there is no elevator. Our room is on the second floor. The luggage needs the help of the staff. The local habit is to tip. Please pay attention to this in advance. The room is very large, the bathroom is separated, the bathtub + shower are all equipped, and the daily living is very comfortable. The staff in the store are very friendly and the communication is smooth. The hotel has its own exclusive parking area. Self-driving tourists don't have to worry about parking. Breakfast is definitely a big surprise! Dining directly on the balcony facing the sea, while eating and watching the waves, the view is absolutely amazing. All meals are made on the spot, the portion is particularly sufficient, the taste is also online, and the happiness is very high. The hotel has an exclusive path directly to Penguin Beach. You can go out to see African penguins. In the morning, many people run by the sea and the coastline scenery is cured. However, there are few surrounding facilities, shops and restaurants are far away, and the facilities are relatively single. To everyone travel advice: this is suitable for one night! It is enough to see the penguins. There is nothing to go shopping for two nights, and it is easy to be bored. We booked in the off-season in June, the price is good, and the overall price is very high. Summary: Self-driving tourists who want to see penguins and pursue a quiet atmosphere of sea views are highly recommended. The scenery, breakfast and rooms are all online. The only shortcoming is that the location is remote and there are few facilities. It is just right to plan a night trip!"

"The location of the hotel, the surrounding environment did not have to say, the room was large and comfortable. It is very unfortunate that the backpack was placed in the hotel room, and the cash theft occurred, which caused a large loss. The police in Cape Town are very inefficient, because they have to enlist a guide to help them coordinate the follow-up if they want to catch a plane back to Johannesburg."

"I stayed here for one night as I was transiting Cape Town with a flight the following morning. The check-in experience was pretty quick and seamless, as my booking was pre-paid. I stayed here being fully aware of the carbon-neutral moto. The hotel appeared clean and tidy. The free shuttle from the airport was trouble-free. The directions to the pick-up was simple to follow. The pick-up was on time, and it was a very short ride to the hotel - literally a matter of minutes. The room I was allocated - 233 - was spacious and clean. However, I was surprised by the bizarre layout, especially with the way the shower and bedroom is almost open plan - only a screen separate the two areas. The toilet is separated by a door, though. Other than that, I had no major issues with the room. The bed was large and comfortable, my sleep was not disturbed and it was generally a positive short stay. The shower worked fine, it took a little getting use to the water-saving feature in the sink tap. The toilet flush may have a malfunction, because it would stay stuck when pressed, and required tapping for the button to return from a pressed state. I felt safe during my stay, and was reassured by the security procedures in place when booking an Uber - drivers are asked to scan their driving licence at the gate when entering the grounds. The drive to the V&A Waterfront was about 25-30 minutes. I had a late lunch at the hotel restaurant - Nuovo. The menu was okay, but not spectacular. I visited the restaurant when it was relatively quiet with diners. However, I found staff were not particularly attentive. It took a while before someone approached me and provided a menu. The vegan burger I order was nice, even if it looked a bit dry. It was the only chargeable thing I incurred, which I put on the room (250 ZAR to pay on check-out). The breakfast is a decent buffet of hot and cold food, plus live omelette bar. There’s also pancake making facilities, automatic coffee machines and more. On check-out, to my surprise, I was informed of bills totally 600 ZAR. I explained that I only had one meal at 250 ZAR, which the reception staff accepted. However, a few days later, I received emails claiming that I had an unpaid bill for 350 ZAR, which I had to explain again in my response (I did not receive further contact after that). I think this was a case of staff incorrectly reading a room number when processing, or a guest deliberately giving the wrong room number. I caught the shuttle back to the airport after checking out, again trouble-free. All-in-all, a very good airport hotel, and one I could easily recommend to others."
