"Traveling with family, we booked a suite and it was incredibly spacious, with two bathrooms which was very convenient. There was also a separate living area. Although it's an older five-star hotel (some prefer modern design, but I lean towards classic styles), the facilities are still very well-maintained and up-to-date. The service was exceptional, from the doorman at the entrance, to the front desk during check-in, and even at the restaurant – everyone provided warm and enthusiastic service. Because the Executive Lounge was undergoing renovations, the hotel generously upgraded the Executive benefits to a buffet dinner, which was a very classy move. The restaurant service was excellent, and the variety of food was impressive. A special thank you to Assistant Director Song from the F&B department for their warm and thoughtful service. Also, a shout-out to the chef who makes the shumai for breakfast – it was delicious! And the Inner Mongolian milk tea was fantastic!"

"This resort feels like an oasis in the middle of the desert. Beautiful, spacious, impeccably clean, and every bit deserving of its 5-star reputation. Our room was comfortable, spotless, and thankfully free from any cigarette smell. The laundry room was another pleasant surprise, equipped with new and well-maintained washers and dryers, with detergent provided for guests' convenience. All meals are included and served in the dining hall, making the stay truly hassle-free. The food was consistently good, with hotpot available for dinner. Drinks, snacks, and refreshments were also available throughout the day. It would be difficult to leave this place without gaining a little weight! 😜 Given the size of the resort, guests may occasionally need to use the resort's transportation to get around. Fortunately, the waiting time was minimal, and we were able to travel between locations quickly and efficiently. One minor drawback of the resort's impressive size is the walking distance to some rooms. The accommodation blocks are built in a circular layout, and our room happened to be located on the opposite side from the escalator landing. This meant walking past nearly 50 rooms every time we returned to our room. While this could be inconvenient, we did notice that the rooms closer to the escalator often had a noticeable cigarette smell in the corridor. By contrast, our section at the far end was completely free of smoke odours, which made the extra walk worthwhile. Whether these were designated non-smoking rooms, I'm not entirely sure. What truly sets this resort apart is the range of activities and entertainment on offer. Guests can enjoy camel rides, ATV adventures, flying fox rides, guided stargazing walks, and nightly concerts and performances complete with spectacular fireworks displays. 🌌🐪🏍️🎆 For those looking for a Club Med-style, all-inclusive holiday with a unique desert setting, I would highly recommend this resort. It offers a memorable experience that combines comfort, adventure, entertainment, and excellent food in one remarkable destination."

"Our first stop on our Inner Mongolia trip, and this hotel comes highly recommended! The room was incredibly spacious, clean, and the night view was fantastic. The staff at the front desk, in the restaurant, and the concierge were all exceptionally warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. A special shout-out to Ryan at the front desk, who, seeing we had a child, upgraded our room for free! I also want to thank the hotel for helping me mail back a lost item!"

"The suite rooms were decent, though old, and well-maintained. The service was still friendly with smiles, but interdepartmental coordination was poor; I got three or four different answers from just one person in the lounge. The Inner Mongolians were very welcoming, but attention to detail was lacking, such as breakfast times, locations, and how to get to your room. The breakfast was excellent value and highly recommended; it had a very Inner Mongolian feel."

"1. I booked this hotel because it is surrounded by the city grassland and Olympic Park. When I checked in at night, I hoped to be arranged to have a room with a view. I left early the next morning and also visited Baotou. I was told that there was no room, and I was arranged to have a room. The view is shown in the last picture. There is nothing else to say. In the morning, there is a lot of noise outside when I open the balcony door, similar to the noise of the air conditioner. So it may be that I didn't encounter the kind of front desk who actively upgraded the room as mentioned in the comments. 2. Not only was there water in the kettle, but the bottom of the kettle was also very dirty, see Figure 4, which is not even as good as ordinary hotels. 3. The door of the bathroom and shower room faces the bed, without any shelter, see Figure 5, it is very inconvenient for the family to take a bath, change clothes and take things. 4. The biggest complaint is that the alarm clock starts ringing at 5:30, and I was disturbed and didn't rest well at all. Even if it was booked by the previous guest, it should be a basic operation to reset the alarm clock when cleaning the room. In summary, I booked a five-star (diamond) rating for the environment, service and facilities, but this hotel is quite disappointing."

"This time, for our trip to Xiangshawan, we chose the Shuno Hotel with its futuristic, space-themed design. The experience was fantastic! Even though the pool had some sand, the staff cleaned it daily. One of the best perks of staying at the hotel was the VIP treatment; many activities had long lines, but we could just jump right in until we were tired of them. The hotel also offered kids' craft activities, which my child absolutely loved, like making hair ties. We even got to try using a sewing machine to make things, and the staff members there were incredibly patient, showing us exactly what to do. It was excellent. The cafe offered unlimited drinks, and one of the waiters even made us a special 'hidden menu' drink that our whole family raved about – it was delicious. Overall, I highly recommend Shuno Hotel. There are so many activities, the atmosphere is very welcoming, and the service is incredibly attentive."
