From check-in to extending our stay, she was consistently warm, attentive, and her smile was truly infectious. Although Lucia, the intern at the breakfast restaurant, is young, her sincerity shone through every day. The housekeeping staff kept our room spotless daily, and the bell boy was also very friendly. Just a small suggestion: Of course, there were a few staff members whose service attitude was cold and stern. One even told us, ”This is your problem to solve!” – which honestly made me want to swear! I hope the hotel can improve the service awareness of some staff members. While it's understandable to prioritize athletes during competitions, it's also important to pay more attention to the experience of regular guests. After all, events are temporary, but guest reputation lasts. A bit more balance in operations would make the experience even more perfect. Overall, I'm satisfied and grateful for everyone I met during our trip!"

"This hotel boasts a fantastic location in the new city center, right by the Olympic Sports Center. It's conveniently connected to Metro Line 1, which links to all three Changzhou train stations, making travel incredibly easy. The breakfast spread is also quite impressive, offering a wide variety of both Western and Chinese options. The hotel's bar serves up excellent drinks with great flavors, which we really enjoyed. Overall, the hotel's environment and cleanliness are good, though it does feel a bit older and dated, and some maintenance could be improved. It's also very convenient for visiting nearby attractions, including the Dinosaur Park, which is quite close."

"We took advantage of off-peak travel to visit Changzhou for a two-day, one-night trip with our child. The Wenpu Hotel has an amazing location – it's the first time I've ever encountered a hotel where the subway directly connects to an underground plaza, which then leads straight to the hotel's basement level. There were even staff members in the basement to guide us. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade to a dinosaur-themed kids' room! As soon as we walked in, we saw dinosaur plushies and a little play kitchen – our child was absolutely thrilled. It was also the first time we'd slept on a 2.4-meter king-size bed; previously, 1.8-meter beds felt a bit cramped with two adults and a child. Just for that, I think Wenpu really gets it. The room was clean, well-equipped, and thoughtful. They've done an excellent job with the parent-child aspects, and every staff member we met had an incredibly friendly attitude. Overall, the experience was perfect. There are museums, libraries, and other attractions nearby. We'll definitely stay at Wenpu again next time we're in Changzhou!"

"Wow, my stay this time was absolutely fantastic! My room got upgraded and it was super quiet. The bathtub filled quickly with hot water, making for a very relaxing soak. The view from the window was expansive, and I woke up to the sun in the morning. Breakfast had a great variety and was delicious. The staff were very welcoming and greeted me warmly. 👌 The experience was great. I was in a hurry and didn't get to swim or use the gym, but I ran into some guys coming out of the gym in the elevator who were in great shape. 👌 The Chinese restaurant on the second floor had an elegant ambiance and wasn't crowded at all, so dining there was completely undisturbed and very enjoyable. 👌👌👌 It's an excellent choice, and I'll definitely come back next time. Too bad I forgot to take some photos."

The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. I just mentioned my neck was bothering me, and Mia immediately told me about the pillow menu in the room. All I had to do was tell her my choice, and housekeeping would deliver it right away. Her enthusiasm was just perfect. All the travel fatigue vanished the moment I met Mia. When hotels are comparable, it's the warmth of the service that stands out, and Mia absolutely nails it! I genuinely recommend this place; make sure to experience her heartwarming service when you stay – you won't regret it!"

"Out of all the hotels I've stayed at, this is the only one where I had to make five calls just to inquire about a room type – either no one picked up or I got a busy signal, and I never got through to the front desk. I ended up contacting a staff member directly to get in touch with a dedicated butler. The butler, as always, was incredibly helpful and responsible, providing detailed answers to all my questions. The hotel's kids' club is chargeable. The 1350-priced family room is beautiful, but it doesn't include kids' club tickets. Interestingly, the twin room has a package that does. I'd recommend purchasing the 799 room type package if you want kids' club tickets, as it's a better deal for families with children. There's no robot service for food delivery, so it's best to contact the butler directly, as they are quite responsible. When I called the front desk for food delivery after checking in, the attitude was quite indifferent, with standard phrases like 'Hello, how can I help you? Oh, we don't have that.' My food sat in the hotel lobby for almost half an hour without being delivered. When I called again, no one picked up after being transferred, so I had to contact the butler again. I can only say that the only reason I'm not leaving a negative review is solely due to the excellent service provided by the butler."

"I was traveling with my two kids to Dinosaur Park and compared several hotels nearby before choosing Le Meridien. Although Dinoland Hotel is closer, I found it too old and I'm quite particular about cleanliness. Le Meridien isn't far from Dinosaur Park, and they offer a shuttle service during the day that's essentially on-demand, which is very convenient. In the evenings, after a long day of playing, when we were too tired to walk, we just took a taxi, and it was only about a kilometer away. The hotel is newly opened, so the hygiene and environment are excellent. The room was spacious enough. My kids played in the swimming pool three times during our two-day stay, and they seemed to enjoy it even more than Dinosaur Park itself! The service was fantastic. Upon check-in, I added Connie from the front desk on WeChat as our personal concierge. She was very responsive and prompt with any questions or issues we had, and her attitude was excellent. Seeing my two children, she even gave them two small dinosaur toys. The hotel breakfast was a five-star standard, including a special yellow croaker noodle dish, which was decent. Global Harbor is within 5 kilometers of the hotel, and it's a great place to explore. More importantly, it has 'Chayan Yuese' (a popular tea brand)... We ended up eating there for two days."

Before check-in, the butler, Alaia, contacted us in advance to inquire about our expected arrival time, dinner reservations, and breakfast arrangements. Throughout the check-in process, any issues were resolved quickly and efficiently – a big thumbs up! Accommodation: The environment is first-class. The rooms are located in the heart of Jiuyuan, offering scenic views at every turn. It's very quiet, with fresh air, perfect for leisurely strolls and relaxation. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are attentive and friendly. On the first day, after dinner, it was drizzling when we returned to the Wisteria Pavilion. The concierge proactively came out to greet us with an umbrella and helped our seniors – very thoughtful! Shuttle buses are readily available to all parts of the hotel, with quick response and excellent service. Dining: Dinner Buffet: Average, but worth trying if you enjoy buffets. Breakfast: We opted for a set breakfast at the small restaurant in Pilingyi because we wanted a quiet breakfast. Western and Chinese options were available, and since my family is vegetarian, we also prepared a completely vegetarian breakfast as requested – a very thoughtful touch. The dishes were quite plentiful; reviews mentioned large portions, which I guess reflects the catering to different customer needs. They even offered to pack up any leftovers to take home, preventing waste. Yuxiufang: Before leaving, I wanted to try the Black Pearl restaurant. The taste was acceptable, but the service was so-so, and the food was served very slowly. Because I was rushing to catch a train in the afternoon, I simply ordered stir-fried vegetables, radish fried rice, and sea cucumber tofu. The staff thoughtfully reminded me that the fried rice portion was large and suggested ordering half a portion if needed—this was probably the only heartwarming thing about the meal. Then came the long wait… Half an hour after being seated, only one serving of stir-fried vegetables arrived… Even after I told them I was in a hurry, they didn't speed up the service. After nearly 50 minutes, I had to go to the cashier to tell them that if the food wasn't ready by then, I would have to cancel the order. Only then did they rush to serve the food, and even after I emphasized again that I didn't have time to eat, they finally helped me pack it up… I had to follow up three times, and this was even when the restaurant wasn't full… As for the taste, it was acceptable; the radish fried rice was better than Yangzhou fried rice. If you're not in a rush, you can try it."
