The modern minimalist style, with its red theme, blends seamlessly, giving it a very chic and thoughtful feel. In terms of service, Miaozi at the front desk was fantastic. She was friendly, had a clear approach to her work, and was excellent at handling and resolving issues. We had booked afternoon tea in advance, but learned at check-in that the restaurant was closed. Miaozi quickly and efficiently sorted everything out. When she found out we were going to see the 'Again in Yan'an' performance, she gave us really constructive advice, which greatly enhanced our theater experience. The only minor issue was with the restaurant. The staff were very polite, but the variety and quality of the dishes, along with items not being refilled, clearly indicated an attempt to operate on a very low budget. This might be related to the number of guests, which is understandable."

"Staying at the Wanda Jin Hotel during my trip to Yan'an was a pleasant surprise. The hotel is ideally located by Fangta Lake, facing Hongjie Street across the water. It's very pleasant to take a walk along Hongjie Street after dinner, and the lights reflecting on the lake at night create a beautiful scene. The design cleverly incorporates Northern Shaanxi elements like cave arches, paper-cutting, and waist drums into a modern decor, creating a strong regional atmosphere. The guest rooms are spacious, with new facilities and excellent hygiene. They even provide humidifiers, considering the northern climate, which shows great attention to detail. The bedding is soft, ensuring a good night's sleep. Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and the service was polite and thoughtful. The hotel is located in a new district, offering a quiet environment. Taxis to the red historical sites in the city are readily available. The breakfast offers a rich variety, including some local Shaanxi specialties. Overall, both the hardware and service are top-notch. Whether for a family trip or a red culture study tour, this hotel is an excellent choice for accommodation in Yan'an. I highly recommend choosing a high-floor lake view room for an even better scenic experience."

"This is an old hotel; the lobby looks nice, but that's about it. What we needed were comfortable guest rooms. Overall, the room facilities were outdated. The first room was dimly lit upon entering, as it relied on auxiliary lighting; only one of the spotlights was working. The door lock was broken. We called the front desk, and they said there were no rooms available but we could change rooms. After we asked to go upstairs to check, they said we could change rooms. The second room was better lit but still dimly lit. Our child said it felt very oppressive and uncomfortable. We thought we'd just make do. My husband wanted to boil water to sterilize the kettle, but found that the kettle plug had only two prongs instead of three, and the socket was broken. We moved it to another location, but it was still broken. For safety reasons, we had to put up with it. We finally got hot water for our child in the lobby the next day after checking out. The experience was terrible!"

That evening, when we parked our car and retrieved our luggage from the trunk ourselves, the staff standing at the door didn't help with the luggage and were very indifferent. Checking in at the front desk during the National Day had to wait in line for half an hour. Although it was recommended that guests waiting in line at the back go to Tower C to check in, with a bunch of luggage and children, no one was willing to drag their luggage to another building. The biggest complaint was that the front desk reported that orders placed by Ctrip after 6 pm that day were not found in the hotel system at 9:30 pm, and it took a long time to get the room card. The worst thing is that I stayed in Building AC. All breakfast the next day was concentrated in Building B, and the breakfast room in Building A was not open. After browsing around on Ctrip, I came across Yan'an Red Star Garden International Hotel. Since there was no online rating, I booked a twin room with the attitude of giving it a try. This hotel is an independent small ravine, adjacent to the former site of the wartime No. 1 Nursery in the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region. The gate is a bit unprepossessing (photo attached). Go straight along the road for 300 meters and enter the hotel area. I immediately feel very good. The entire area is clean and clean. Quiet, it can be said to be quiet in the noise. A row of national flags fluttered on the hotel fence, creating a festive atmosphere. Entering the hotel lobby, it is tall, spacious and bright, with harmonious lighting. The decoration is very elegant and high-end. Two large paintings come into view, one is ”Spring on the Yanhe River” and the other is ”River Dance”. They can only be used ”Masterpiece” description. After checking in, I entered the room. The room was also spacious, bright and clean, without any odor. The room was very well soundproofed and quiet. The room is about 40+ square meters. The bathrooms are all TOTO. They are very clean. The utensils are wiped clean without any fingerprints. The indoor furniture is all solid wood furniture and is of high quality. The bed is very big. It should be a 1.2 meter single bed. The quality of the carpet is also very high, with the hotel's logo embroidered on it. Towels, bathrobes, floor towels, and toiletries are all available. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, has a bathtub, and the consumables are fully equipped and of good quality. The corridors are also bright and tidy, and the murals are carefully selected, mainly paper-cuts from northern Shaanxi. The breakfast was very rich. The hotel said there were not many guests staying at the moment, so they arranged a time with me and the waiter delivered the breakfast to the room. The service was very considerate.
