"Let's start with the positives: The overall facilities are top-notch for most hotels in Paris, with an elegant French style and excellent soundproofing. The common areas, though not expansive, are charming and tastefully designed. Cleanliness, however, would only rate a 4 out of 5. Some details were overlooked, such as hair left on the sofa, and the welcome champagne glasses from the first day were left uncollected for four days. The bedding was high-quality, bath products were Guerlain (though I personally found them too fragrant), slippers were soft, and the mini-bar was complimentary. Now for the downsides: The Junior Suite we booked differed from the images on the booking platform. There was no three-seater sofa, only an ottoman at the foot of the bed, nor was there a window in the bathroom. The 'suite' aspect merely consisted of a soundproof door separating the bathroom from the main room. Our particular room faced the street, and Parisian mornings are quite noisy with garbage collection. Upon check-in, we had specifically requested a quiet, courtyard-facing room. After some discussion, they offered to move us on our last day, but as packing would be a hassle and we had plans for that day, we decided not to bother with the move. Those initial champagne flutes remained on the desk for three days without being collected – seriously, is that a question of basic hotel service or just a complete lack of attention? The placement of the bathroom magnifying mirror was incredibly tricky; it would topple over onto the tap with just a slight touch, and there was nowhere else to put it. When it fell, it shattered into two pieces. We left a specific note asking for it to be cleared away and also informed the front desk directly. The result? The mirror was removed, but two shards of broken glass were left behind, which was absolutely appalling. Imagine if we had a child with us... is this incompetence again? The hotel hosts a significant number of Chinese and Asian guests, and an elderly Asian gentleman was part of the restaurant service staff. While numerous 4-star hotels in the vicinity average between €200-€300, this establishment, a 5-star property, offers relatively good value, operating more like a high-end boutique hotel. Naturally, illustrious neighbors like The Ritz and Rosewood are far more imposing and luxurious, but their prices are commensurately higher."

"What a fantastic stay! An elegant five star hotel! Location is perfect. Even though it is next to the railway station but the sound proof is perfect, very quiet in the room. We had a good rest. Very safe too. You can easily get to anywhere especially doing shopping. The room is big since they upgraded our room to an executive room. They provided complimentary stuff: coffee and tea and cookies sometimes. The breakfast is mediocre but healthy."

"Very satisfied. I thought it was a little expensive, but it was worth it. My daughter and I were traveling together, and we never felt unsafe during our stay. During the day, there was always a staff member near the door, and you couldn't get on the elevator without a card. At night, the automatic doors wouldn't open without a card. We stayed in a DELUXE DOUBLE room, and there was plenty of space to spread out our luggage, and even when we ate in the room, it didn't feel cramped, so we thought it was comfortable. The room was clean, and the shower/sink and toilet were separate. The shower door was not half glass, as is common in France, but the whole door closed lol. I felt a little more luxurious when the toilet paper that was almost gone was replaced with new paper after cleaning. Most of all, the staff's appearance and service were first-class. Is it because I only stay in cheap hotels in Japan? There was no language stress as I didn't have to ask questions about baggage storage, check-in (you do this while sitting in the lobby next to the hotel, and they offer coffee or cocoa), baggage storage, etc. The hotel is located a little way off the main road, but it's on a busy road. Given the location, I think it's safe. The Champs-Élysées is like Omotesando, and the area around the Opera is like Ginza. It takes about 5 minutes to get there after getting off the Roissybus. Of course, the staff will arrange a taxi to the airport, so the location doesn't matter in that respect."

"The family room, with two rooms nestled in a gated area, offered considerable privacy. While the room wasn't as large as expected, the bathroom was large and spacious. The breakfast was excellent, and the front desk staff provided helpful information, such as how reliable it was to call a taxi rather than using a Bolt, and their restaurant recommendations were excellent. The location, right by the Seine, made getting around easily. Overall, it was a quiet, elegant, and comfortable environment."

"Firstly, there is a lot of constructions around the hotel. There, the surrounding area especially for driving is very tricky and bad. Once the construction is done, that area is actually quite good. Secondly, we booked a suite but the A/C is not working. We had to be put in another suite and nobody at the hotel offered help to move our luggage to the new suite. Quite disappointing as this should be SOP in any established and highly rated hotel. Lastly, the most disappointing part is that I called and emailed in advance to ask to set up the sofa bed but when we entered the suit, it was not set up. The staff at the hotel admitted that our request has been acknowledge but she didn't understand why it wasn't done. In summary, all these three issues combined hit us after we checked in at night. Very disappointed!"

"We had a super stay at the hotel - great location and attentive staff.  Shout out to Zheng Ti and Mouad who assisted us during our stay to make it a memorable one. Rooms have a small kitchenette which is handy and Hotel has a very good gym which is rare in Paris and we used it several times. Pro tip: hotel is 3 minutes from Eiffel Tower look out so you can head there on the hour every evening for a twinkling surpirse"

"I’m not sure if Paris is just expensive in general, but… this place doesn’t really feel like a 5-star hotel. There’s a musty, almost moldy smell in the room, and the water pressure is so low that it took me forever to take a shower. 😩 But then again, the last 5-star hotel I stayed at didn’t even have hot water, so… I guess low water pressure is something I can live with. They did upgrade my room, but honestly… aside from being bigger, there’s not much to like. Since it’s just the two of us, we don’t really need a larger room anyway. The whole place — from the room itself to the building and even the elevator — feels old and a bit unpleasant. For a 5-star hotel, it’s really disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend it. There’s an InterContinental right across the street, and the staff there actually greeted guests properly. It was around the same price, and honestly, I wish I had stayed there instead. The staff here are very kind, but apart from that, I have to be honest about what really matters to me. I do appreciate the room upgrade, but truely the hotel facilities are disappointing."

"Pros- Room was spacious compare to any other hotel in Paris. Convenience for a family of four. A few metro stations away from Paris around 15-20min journey. The nearest metro station, Esplanade Metro is just 5 minutes walk from the lobby and cost around €2.10 for a single trip to Paris- charles de gaule etoile, auber and etc. Cons- if you are booking Uber/ Bolt, make sure to select Ibis Hotel or Novotel Hotel La Defense. A few drivers have difficulties to find this hotel entrance."
