"Stayed at The Anvaya Beach Resort Bali recently and honestly had a really nice experience. The service here is what stood out first — the staff are genuinely warm and helpful, not in a forced hotel way but in a very natural, Balinese hospitality kind of way. Check-in was smooth and throughout the stay everyone was attentive and friendly. We booked a pool access room and I’d highly recommend doing that if you can. Being able to step straight from the room into the pool made it feel a bit more private and relaxing, especially in the mornings or late afternoon. The room itself was spacious with a big comfy bed, and the minibar being refilled daily (included) was a great bonus that you don’t always get elsewhere. Breakfast was another highlight — lots of variety, good quality food, and enough options that it didn’t feel repetitive even after a few days. Overall, really solid stay. Comfortable, great service, and good value for what you get. Would happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Bali."

"Stayed in the private villa, with own pool which was an amazing experience. Good breakfast buffet, small restaurant. Unfortunately we were told the roof top bar was closed but looked nice from the outside. Beautiful gardens. The main pool area is on the smaller side, which is not as relevant if staying in a private pool villa. The villa was very spacious with an outside kitchenette and indoor/ outdoor accessible bathroom with large bath tub. Some wear and tear, in line with the age of the hotel but overall clean and looked after. Location is out of the way a little and not really walking distance to shopping areas or beach, but the hotel did offer a regular free beach shuttle. Most of the road to the hotel is fine, but there is a short part just before the hotel that is rough. The drivers handled it fine. Overall a pleasant stay."

"We recently stayed at Hard Rock Hotel Bali and overall had a great experience. The hotel is very clean, in an excellent location, and the facilities are honestly unmatched compared to any other hotel we’ve stayed at in Bali. We used the pools, gym, sauna, steam room, toddler playground, play room (small additional fee) and multiple restaurants throughout our stay and everything was excellent and well maintained. The hotel itself is huge — with over 400 rooms — so it can feel very busy at times. Because of the number of guests, we often found it difficult to get pool service quickly, and there were long queues for buffet breakfast in the mornings. That said, every interaction we had with staff was positive. Everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming. The late checkout option until 6pm for an additional fee was fantastic and made our travel day so much easier. All of the restaurants we tried were great, and the king bed and linen were some of the most comfortable we’ve slept in. We stayed in the same wing as the Centrestage and could hear the live music at night, but it was faint and definitely not enough to disrupt our sleep. Overall, despite how busy the resort can get, the facilities, comfort, location and service make it a fantastic family-friendly option in Bali."

"Location: Situated in Nusa Dua, Bali's upscale resort area, the surroundings are beautiful with excellent amenities nearby. It's a 10-minute walk to Bali Collection. The beach is stunning, with a breakwater a few hundred meters out, making the waves very gentle and perfect for swimming. Facilities: The hotel's overall facilities are a bit dated, but the cleanliness is good. Service: Fantastic! They even remember your name. The hotel offers many daily activities. I really enjoyed the hot yoga!"

"First of all, we love Kuta as it’s not so crowded like Seminyak or Canggu! This hotel is 10 mins away from the International Airport and 15 mins walk to Kuta Beach. We love the location not only bcoz it’s near the airport but also near to lots of restaurants, bars, cafe and mall! Hotel staffs are very friendly and accommodating! However, the room we stayed was far from the lobby but that’s just a small minus point."

"As a resort hotel in Bali, the Kempinski is truly excellent. Their facilities are new, and the service is incredibly attentive. Every staff member wears a smile, and you can really feel their genuine kindness. Plus, communication in English was absolutely no problem. This time, we booked a one-bedroom king-size villa with its own small private pool and a hanging swing chair. The first floor has a living room, an attached bathroom, and an outdoor shower area. The second floor houses the bedroom, also with an attached bathroom. The room felt very cozy and incredibly thoughtful; there was plenty of bottled water, and the minibar and snacks were always well-stocked and replenished daily. The villa room types have a separate check-in lounge specifically for villas, which also serves breakfast and afternoon tea. You can pop in anytime for coffee or tea. The staff there are exceptionally friendly; they remember your name and are always ready to assist. A special shout-out to Vivik, who led us through the check-in process and introduced us to our room type. The hotel lobby is grand and impressive, showcasing unique traditional Indonesian cultural charm. Perched atop a cliff, it constantly enjoys a refreshing sea breeze. Whether you're gazing at the sea or simply relaxing, it's incredibly soothing. The gym and spa are located on the 15th floor. The spa is very comfortable but requires advance booking as it's quite popular. The gym offers an excellent vantage point overlooking the entire beach, making a run feel wonderfully invigorating. The hotel's main pool is situated below the cliff, directly in front of the ocean, with a faint hint of saltiness in the air. The pool is expansive, offering a full view of the entire hotel when looking back, and the beach and ocean stretching out ahead – perfectly embodying the tropical resort vibe. However, I do believe there's room for improvement. There are steps leading into the pool, and the edges of these steps are quite sharp. Due to water refraction, they're difficult to see clearly unless you're looking closely. I bumped my knee while swimming and got a small scrape. The hotel might consider adding some soft foam guards or similar protection to prevent similar incidents. While it might not be an issue for adults, it could be quite bad if children playing in the pool were to accidentally hit themselves. Overall, the Kempinski Bali remains an outstanding resort hotel that significantly enhanced our holiday experience in Bali. My sincere thanks again to all the warm and enthusiastic staff for their help and service."

"I booked this hotel because the pictures looked great, and the room did match the photos, but the cleanliness was pretty subpar. When I checked in, there were four large flies in the room. I called housekeeping to help me get rid of them, but they only managed to kill one. I was eating room service while shooing away flies, and other bugs even landed in my food! 😭 The pool and bathtub were especially dirty with a lot of debris floating around. I booked this room specifically for the pool, but I couldn't even use it. 🥺 The breakfast was just okay, and the room service from the hotel's Japanese restaurant wasn't much better – I didn't even finish it. The lighting in the room was a bit too dim; I couldn't see anything at night."

"My booked room was under renovation, so the owner upgraded me to a suite. The hotel environment is top-notch, with lush greenery that gives it a distinct Southeast Asian feel. There are even fearless little squirrels, creating a very harmonious atmosphere. The hotel's location is also great, close to Kuta Art Market and not far from the mall. They also gave me a 15% discount voucher to use at the restaurant. It would be even more perfect if the bathroom facilities were updated."

"Huge thanks to Ms. Dayu at the front desk! When I checked out from my previous stay, I asked her to reserve the same room for me, and she quickly confirmed. For my second stay, the room was thoughtfully prepared. The breakfast selection was great, and the bedding was comfortable, allowing for a good night's sleep. The view from the window was fantastic; I got to enjoy free fireworks almost every night—they were truly beautiful!!! P.S. It's worth noting that during my initial check-in for the first booking, the hotel reception assigned me a first-floor room (this was a different, unnamed front desk agent). What's more, it wasn't even the room type I booked, which was quite ridiculous. However, after I pointed it out, they immediately moved me to the correct room type on the second floor. So, it's a good idea for everyone to double-check their room upon check-in.👍"
