"On our way back to Kuala Lumpur from Genting, we deliberately took a detour to stay at this chateau hotel near Colmar Tropicale, and it turned out to be the most delightful 'chill-out' spot of our trip. The location is superb, just a 5-minute walk to Colmar Tropicale, and the surrounding trails are perfect for leisurely strolls, leaving us feeling completely refreshed by the end of the day. I must particularly rave about the dining! For dinner, I initially went for a creative set menu featuring dishes similar to 'raw-marinated, cooked-marinated' style, but unfortunately, the chef was off that day. We opted for two other options instead, and they were absolutely divine – the French onion soup was so rich I wished I could have another bowl, and the fries were the crispiest I've ever had, a true delight for those who appreciate details. The post-dinner dessert and mung bean soup also defied expectations; I've had countless versions of these, but the flavors here were the most satisfying and not at all cloying. Breakfast was semi-buffet style, and I ordered so many egg dishes that I was stuffed. The Malaysian sausages seemed to be made of pure meat, which gave them a fantastic texture. I highly recommend having all three meals at the hotel; relaxing with good food and drinks is the perfect vacation. The check-in service here also felt like 'royal treatment,' with the front desk staff giving us a guided tour and explanation of the entire chateau. It was thoughtful and thorough. Although the room wasn't large, it was cozy, quiet, and had an excellent view. We were upgraded to the top floor, despite it not being a high-rise building. This place is perfect for a honeymoon or simply a few days of relaxation. I would definitely visit again."

As the premier hotel at Genting Highlands, it truly lives up to its reputation. 🏨 Accommodation Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and spotlessly clean. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and the view over the highlands was stunning. Everything felt premium — from the modern amenities to the thoughtful little touches that made our stay extra special. 👨💼 Service Service was outstanding across the board. Every staff member we met — from the concierge and front desk to housekeeping and restaurant teams — was polite, attentive, and genuinely eager to help. Special thanks to the concierge team who assisted us with arrangements and recommendations with a warm smile. 📍 Location & Convenience Perfectly connected to SkyAvenue, casinos, and attractions via covered walkways — so easy to get around, even in rain. Yet it remains quiet and private, a true luxury escape above the bustle. 🍽️ Dining & Facilities The facilities are world-class — elegant lobby, relaxing spa, and excellent dining options right within the hotel. Breakfast was high-quality with plenty of variety, and service there was equally attentive."

"This is easily the best hotel/BNB I’ve ever stayed in. My entire family felt completely relaxed and able to recuperate both mentally and physically. It was a much-needed respite for everyone. The amenities, room and view were phenomenal. The attached Antara shopping mall has plenty of food, shopping and basic groceries options. Getting to Genting first world from Antara Genting on a weekday night was a bit of a challenge (via grab / cab) but thankfully we drove so it wasn’t a major issue. Hotel parking was reasonable at ~MYR$5 a day. The credit card refund for the $200 security deposit was also very quick and efficient. We’ll definitely be back at Antara Genting CoBNB."

"This trip was a big family vacation, so we wanted to stay close to each other for convenience. At first, we thought it was a hotel group with multiple units on the same floor of this building. We originally thought it was a serviced apartment. It turned out to be a 'bnb,' and we only have ourselves to blame for not doing our homework. But unfortunately, it's a company that bought multiple different types of rooms across different buildings (a total of 4 buildings). If it were just one family staying, it wouldn't be a big problem. But for over 10 of us, we had told the 'bnb' in advance that we hoped to be arranged nearby. Upon arrival, we were told it wasn't possible, and we were even split into 2 different buildings. When we arrived, we didn't know how to check in, and the bnb hadn't contacted us either. We went to the mall's information desk, and they told us to call the bnb. When we finally reached the B&B, we had to take photos of our IDs and send them, which initially made us suspect we were being scammed. The whole check-in process was a bit complicated (and self-service 🤣). However, the building is new, and the room furnishings are relatively new and complete. Not all room types are the same; we booked 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom units. One of them had a jacuzzi, which the kids were thrilled to see. But unfortunately, the 'jacuzzi' we were promised was broken and had no hot water. In a cool place like Genting, playing in a jacuzzi (with cold water) was a no-go, so we eventually gave up 🫣😂 (Another night, they arranged another room for us, claiming the jacuzzi worked and indeed had hot water, but by the time we checked in, there was already a huge tub of water, and it would have taken two or three hours to drain it, so we gave up on that too 😅). The location of these B&Bs is a 20-minute walk from the Genting hotels/casino (we are relatively young and walk faster). For seniors, walking to Genting is not recommended, as it's a bit strenuous (the return trip is manageable). There was also a small incident: upon check-in, we were informed that our check-out day was the annual electricity inspection day, so there would be a power outage. There would be no electricity from 8 AM that morning. To avoid being in a room without power or in the elevator, we had to leave before 8 AM. Luckily, we could reach the lobby before the elevators stopped working (we asked a security guard, and he said the elevators would be out for about an hour and a half). Overall, the experience was average. I'm not sure if multiple staff members were contacting us via WhatsApp; some had good attitudes, but others were quite rude."
