Holiday Inn Club Vacations Tahoe Ridge Resort

First stay since Holiday Inn Club Vacations purchased the resort. The resort is not modern, however, the staff is friendly and courteous (housekeeping, front desk, concierge).

Bath tub extremely difficult to hurdle into. Jacuzzi on top floor were both out of order. Signage in elevator would have been nice.

Personal at the front desk was not particularly friendly . The location is really nice . Hotel a bit outdated

We've stayed at Tahoe Ridge Resort 3 of the last 5 years, and this year's stay left us looking elsewhere. We ran into two significant problems that were handled poorly. We booked a two-room suite and noticed the heater did not work on the smaller side. My wife reached out to the front desk informing them of the issue. We didn't receive a response, and the heat was not fixed three days later when we checked out. The one road to the resort was closed for 3-4 hours one evening due to a traffic collision, and we were stuck down the hill wondering if we needed to book an alternate hotel for the night. There was no communication from the resort, and when we called the main number we were unable to reach the front desk. My wife finally reached a person on the reservations line who was rather rude and seemed bothered that we were calling. This year's experience has us looking elsewhere for next year's Tahoe trip.

5 night stay over NYE in Ridge Crest which was far from clubhouse - pool, games, etc. We booked 2 room suite which was nice for my family of 5 with 3 kids - 16, 13 and 8 - 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, full kitchen & living room. Looks like it was recently remodeled so it’s updated and a pleasant surprise from the rooms that are shown online which looks like they’re stuck in the 80s and 90s. Cooking for my family while on vacations like these helps us cut down on costs, especially because I have a special-needs child. I added a picture of me being able to cook which I really liked. Also, the room had a washer dryer in it which was great because I could do some loads of laundry in between our days. Cons: besides the distance from the clubhouse was the housekeeping seemed a little lax, when I checked in there was dirty clothes on the floor, and the sofa bed had not been fully made up. Additionally, the safe in the room was broken like someone had hacked it open so we weren’t able to use that during our day. Good location close to the heavenly but a bit pricey for the accommodations. I’d give it a 3.5 out of 5 stars.

The Villa was Larger than expected with all the amenities needed for an extended stay (we only stayed two nights). Only gripe about the room was the sticky kitchen floor. Also, the bar tender at Bear Trap could be friendlier. We walked in, weren't greeted and weren't told we could seat ourselves at the Ridge Club Bistro. We had to ask him if we sat ourselves. Thought it was us but he did the same to others.

Excellent floor plan, very nice view but room and corridors smelled like a very old place. Lower level restroom flush was not functioning properly. Ridge view has excellent view but property is not close to other resort amenities. I would prefer tower next to resort amenities.

Lovely place to stay. But was very disappointed that the hot tub was under construction, it was the main reason why I booked this hotel was for the ridge view Tahoe view hot tub and could not use it. I wish I was notified it was not available.

The reception at the front desk was very welcoming and that was the only good thing about this hotel. The room we got was not clean, there were hairs everywhere, on the floor, in the shower and on one pillow case. The checkout was at 10am, the cleaning lady knocked on our door ~9:10am to see if she can start cleaning! As it took us a few minutes to get to the door, saw her checking on us from the window!
