Very lovely property. Bedding was very comfortable. Missed cable TV. Our host Rachel has been most helpful prior to our coming to the Yarra. She shared many good insights on driving & moving around the Yarra. Definitely a 10/10 score! Thanks Rachel.

Comfortable king bed in boutique hotel, modern shower and toilet. Delicious continental breakfast in your own room with bread, cereals , peach fruits, baked beans, choice of teas with toaster, microwave, kettle in own room. Small swimming pool which we didn't use. Nice gardens

Araluen was comfortable, clean and welcoming. The toiletries are luxurious and the heating great in winter. The complimentary continental breakfast supplies appreciated.
The shower water pressure is basically non existent and makes it difficult to shower. The location is remote requiring a vehicle. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

We managed to organise a last minute escape to the area and Araluen set the tone perfectly. While our stay was organised very last minute and was a short overnighter, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the warm greeting, discovering our room was already pre-warmed and toasty for us on arrival, the inviting soft furnishings, and lots of thoughtful touches made sure that we had everything that we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable night away.

Beautiful property, amazing room as pictured, and excellent location. Communication and staff were amazing! However, I did not realise it was a continental breakfast when electing to pay extra for it.

We have stayed at Araluen several times now and there are a number of reasons we keep coming back, the rooms are well appointed, spacious, spotless clean, on a beautiful property. They are well located in the Yarra Valley with easy access the great winery and dining experiences in the Valley.

Booked at the last minute on a very hot day, we were pleased to find this beautiful B&B with a lovely pool. The room was great and Rachel was a very friendly and accommodating host. I enjoyed the smell of eucalyptus trees in the morning from our room.

Araluen Boutique Accommodation is a refreshing and luxurious change from most accommodation options. Nestled on a large property it offers in-house suites as well as self-contained villas perched hillside. My suite was spacious, light and airy with gorgeous garden views. Breakfast provisions were great and illustrated yet another personal touch by our hosts. The Lodge housed 4 suites and quite large common lounge areas for guests to relax, prepare a great coffee and just enjoy the ambience. The accommodation would be perfect for wedding parties and small groups of friends seeking a unique, relaxing getaway close to the celebrated wineries and Yarra Valley food scene. Wildlife both on the property was abundant. I spotted 2 kangaroos at dusk. Araluen definitely has a luxurious and glamorous touch inspired by its creative and caring hosts. I would definitely recommend this unique accommodation.

Had a weekend away in the Yarra Valley earlier in February. Araluen were able to slot us in at the last minute after our other accommodation was damaged in a recent storm. Araluen was peaceful & secluded - perfect for our weekend away. Close to everything in Yarra Valley.
