Sunflower Guest House

Graeme and Bev run a very comfortable place, in a lovely village. It’s quiet, with pheasant clucking, lots of lovely fauna, and dogs looking to be scratched. Graeme does the cooking (and a fine job he does) while Bev fills the room with chatter and laughs. Our room was comfortable and quiet, providing a good night’s sleep. A glass of wine while the day winds down makes for a perfect setting. You’ll enjoy it here.

This was probably one of the warmest, kindest, cleanest and joyful place we have ever stayed. The hosts are full of life and life tales, they make you feel so much at home and treat you like one of their friends from the second they meet you. The room was spacious, clean and quiet with everything you could possibly need to make the stay perfect.

The other reviews would have given this lovely place 6 out of 5 stars if they could have I’m sure - just as we’d like to. Amazing hosts, impeccable attention to detail. The food was amazing at every meal and you definitely were full afterwards. A great location near to Veliko Tărnovo but far enough away (about 15 minutes by car) that it’s calm and peaceful. The rooms have everything you need and if there’s something you want, like a knife or plate, then ask and it’s there. Nothing is too much trouble. Talking of rooms, they are clean….better than a lot of so called luxury hotels I’ve stayed in. Our week here is nearly over and we honestly don’t want to leave, but the best we can do is come back again. We won’t be online looking for other accommodation as we’ve found the best already. Perfectly perfect.
