Hotell & Restaurant Solliden

Good and cozy hotel in centre of Stenungssund. Rooms are a bit worn down and could do with a minor make over. When that is said the price is fair and breaks fast quite good. Their restaurant is supposedly quite good also, even though I have not tried my self.

Booked this place as we always used the yacht club. So wanted to try something new. First positive. 1: location. In the middle of the action, if one can put it this way in Stenungssund. 2: breakfast. Good. Way above average. 3: rooms. Small but ok. I liked the bed. A bit worn down but it will do just fine. 4: easy parking. Now the negative. 1: I travel 120-180 days a year, so flexibility is a must. My travel agency called this hotel and booked same via the hotel. I booked 3 nights. Price I actually do not care that much about. But must be flexible. Upon check in I informed the lady I might only stay 2 nights this time. “No problem”. But when I then wanted to check out I was informed I had to pay all three nights. So please get you policies and guidelines made clear. Now I have to struggle with the bookkeeping and I am 100% sure my agency will give the hotel a call. Sad as we, my company, would likely place quite a few bookings if we are satisfied. 2: reception opening time seems to be a bit random. I tried to catch them the night before check out but it was locked after 1800. (Friday) I checked in around 2000 the day before. Here it was open. Annoying. But ok. There was a number you can call. Regardless. I recommend the hotel. Quite nice.

Small cute boutique hotell and lunch restaurant, smsll but nice rooms, great lunch and breakfast was incredible. Definitely recommend.

Sauberkeit war ok. Leider wurden die Betten und Bad nicht gemacht. Statt 2 Doppelzimmer war es nur 1 Doppelzimmer und ein Einzelzimmer mit Abluft von der Küche. Minibar nicht vorhanden. Restaurant Mittags und abends sehr gut. Frühstück intercontinental.

Odalar güzel, otelin yeri sakin ve nezih, kahvaltı yeterli, çalışanlar güler yüzlü… Fakat giriş yaparken tam bir hayal kırıklığı. Otele öğleden sonra 18:30 da geldik. Rezervasyonu yaptırdığımız ********** da bizi görevlinin karşılayacağı vaadedilse de kimse yoktu artı kapı da kilitliydi. Daha önce bu şekilde otellerde kalmıştık ve bir problem yaşamamıştık çünkü tüm giriş talimatları öncesinde yazılı olarak açık bir şekilde belirtilmişti. Daha sonra kapıda yazan Isveç numarasını “mecburen” aradık ve 5 dakika kadar konuşmak zorunda kaldık, çünkü ancak anlaşabildik. Sonrasında soğuk havadan kurtulup içeri girmeyi başardık fakat aracı nereye park edebileceğimiz konusunda hiç bir fikrimiz yoktu ve yine hiç bir talimat ve açıklama yoktu. En son kendi araçlarının arkasına bıraktım ve odaya çıktım. Bir işletmenin bu kadar sahipsiz olduğuna ilk kez şahit oldum. Ama ertesi gün sabah bir sürü çalışan ve güler yüzlü insan etrafta geziyordu.
