"It's a good hotel very close to the Mont Bund in Hundian~ I arrived in the evening and moved to the Mont Bund on foot and saw it well. The hotel is so clean and everything is AI-friendly, so I learned how to use Xiaodu in Xiaohongshu, connected the speaker, and made automatic curtains and temperature control all voiced~ The reception was very friendly and the delivery food was delivered well and the foreign tourists were very attentive ~ I would like to visit again if I go to Hundian next time ^^"

"We stayed at the Floral Hotel beside Dream Valley during Chinese New Year, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable hotel experiences we’ve had anywhere in China. While the location is already a major advantage being just steps away from Dream Valley and close to the other Hengdian attractions - what truly sets this hotel apart is the heart and personality behind it. This is not a typical boutique hotel. It’s a place shaped by the owners’ passion, taste, and genuine care for their guests. From the moment you arrive, you can feel that the hotel is a labor of love. The architecture and interior design are beautifully curated, with many pieces collected by the owners over the years. Walking through the courtyard and hallways feels like stepping into a different era, almost like entering a scene from the Song dynasty. Yet the rooms themselves are fully modern, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. It’s a rare blend of historical atmosphere and contemporary convenience, and it creates a sense of immersion that you simply don’t get at most hotels in the area. Even though we didn’t stay in the hotel’s best room, we were extremely comfortable. The beds are very firm - something to keep in mind depending on your preference - but we slept well. The room features a large, modern soaking tub that’s perfect after a long day of walking through the film sets and a separate bathroom and shower. And one of our favorite touches was the smart projector in the room, which turns a simple movie night into a cinematic experience. It’s small details like these that show how much thought has gone into making the stay enjoyable. But the true highlight of our visit was the hospitality. The owners are warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making guests feel welcome. On one rainy day, when there wasn’t much for us to do outside, they invited us into their main hall for tea. They set up a traditional tea table with a heated brazier, creating a cozy, intimate atmosphere that felt like visiting old friends rather than staying at a hotel. They kept bringing local snacks: seeds, small rice cakes, and even freshly cooked sweet potato - all offered freely and with genuine kindness. My wife and kids loved every bit of it. What could have been a dull, rainy afternoon became one of our favorite memories of the entire trip. Their kindness extended beyond that moment. At one point, we accidentally made a mess in our room (entirely our fault) and the owners helped us clean up without a hint of frustration or judgment. It’s rare to find that level of patience and understanding, especially during the busy holiday season. Breakfast each morning was another highlight. The hotel has a local cook who clearly takes pride in her craft. The dishes were fresh and simple but full of flavor, prepared with care and attention. You could feel her pride in everything she served. It’s the kind of breakfast that makes you slow down and appreciate the home cooked moment, rather than rushing through a buffet line like at larger hotels. All in all, this hotel was a true win for us. The personal touches, the warmth of the owners, the passion of the cook, and the unique atmosphere created by the carefully collected antiques all come together to create an experience that stands out among the many boutique hotels in the area. In fact, I would say it’s probably better than any other hotel around Hengdian. It’s rare to find a place that feels both deeply rooted in local culture and fully equipped with modern comforts, but this hotel manages to do exactly that. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Hengdian, whether for the parks, the film sets, or simply a relaxing getaway. And if we ever return to the area, we would stay here again without hesitation."

"Five stars, highly recommend! The tent experience was absolutely divine 🌌. The environment is tranquil and stunning, backed by green mountains with expansive views. During the day, you're fully immersed in nature, creating an incredible atmosphere. The tent itself was clean, tidy, and odorless, with spacious and comfortable interiors. The air conditioning works great, and the private bathroom has plenty of hot water. The bedding is soft and luxurious, perfectly blending glamping romance with hotel comfort – no feeling of being rudimentary here at all. The butler service was thoughtful and attentive, responding promptly and meticulously to every need. The surrounding scenery is incredibly photogenic and super healing. It's the perfect escape from the city's hustle and bustle, offering maximum relaxation and healing. An excellent choice for a getaway, I'll definitely be back!"

"Environment: Located next to an unfinished building, the external environment is so-so. The guesthouse is styled like a trendy spot, with many photo opportunities inside the main entrance. Cleanliness: The bathroom has no windows, relying entirely on exhaust pipes, and is a bit old. Otherwise, the cleanliness is acceptable. Service: The service is quite good. Breakfast is simple, not buffet style but pre-made, served in a small area next to the lobby. Room service is also available. Facilities: Poor soundproofing 😦 The room rate is over 1000 RMB during holidays. Its advantage is its relatively close proximity to attractions, but overall, the price-performance ratio isn't very high."

There is no sudden modern feeling, but it exudes a rustic and natural atmosphere. Entering the interior of the homestay, the layout of the room has a unique creativity. Some rooms are decorated in log style, giving people a feeling of returning to nature. The quality of the bedding is not bad, it is more comfortable to sleep, and can give tired travelers a better rest. However, there is room for improvement in some details. For example, the number of sockets in the room is slightly insufficient, and charging is a bit inconvenient for passengers with many electronic devices in modern society. The public area of the homestay is a highlight. There is a spacious courtyard, the courtyard is full of various flowers and plants, in the flowering season, colorful flowers are competing, and the fragrance of flowers is filled in the air. There are also some leisure tables and chairs, suitable for guests to sit here to enjoy a leisure time, read a book or taste a cup of tea. However, the sanitary maintenance of public areas is sometimes not timely enough, and occasionally you can see some falling leaves or small garbage that has not been cleaned up in time. Speaking of service, most of the staff at Xingshu B&B are warm and friendly. When checking in and checking out, the staff will patiently answer the questions of the guests and provide some suggestions for local play, which is very intimate. However, the efficiency of the service needs to be improved when dealing with some sudden conditions. For example, there was a temporary problem with the hot water supply. Although it was finally solved, it took a long time. In terms of dining, the breakfast provided by the hotel has local characteristics. Freshly baked snacks, home-made side dishes, etc. can let guests taste the local flavor. However, the variety of breakfast is relatively limited, and it will be more satisfying if you can add some diversified choices. The location of Xingshu B&B has certain advantages. It is close to some local attractions and can be reached on foot or by short transportation. This is very convenient for tourists and can save a lot of time on the road. In general, Xingshu B&B has its own unique charm, whether it is a unique architectural style, a beautiful courtyard or a warm service attitude, it has left a good impression. But at the same time, it also has some areas that need to be improved, such as room details, public area hygiene, service efficiency and catering types. If these can be improved, Xingshu B&B will become a more competitive accommodation choice, attracting more tourists to experience."

"Very friendly and great hospitality by the owners. They are friendly and helpful and gave us a food and attraction strategy guide which was very useful as our purpose in Hengdian was to visit the major filming studios. The estate was located deep in a neighbourhood area and we have a small problem locating the front entrance desk. Currently they are still doing upgrading to the estate with gardens and swimming pool (refer to photo). I'm sure it will look amazing once completed. The estate was built in 2023 from the ground up and was designed by the same designer who did the Qin Palace. No wonder this homestay has this ancient building look. The room was pretty nice but I find the bed to be too stiff. I'm used to a soft and cushy kind of bed back home and couldn't sleep well for the 3 nights we are there. My family members have no such problem though. Homemade breakfast was provided everyday by 1 of the cleaner cum cook lady. She was super friendly and the food are fantastic and healthy. This is definitely worth a look if you are looking for accomodation in Hengdian and want to experience a more localised feel compared to a standard hotel stay."

"The transportation around the homestay is very convenient. It takes 5 minutes to go to the Yuanmingyuan, and it takes about 10 minutes to go to the major scenic spots of Hengdian. It is very suitable for avoiding the world and relaxing. The public facilities are complete, chess and card room, KTV, swimming pool, tea room, fishing, everything is worth the price!"

"It is in Huayuan Village, about 20 kilometers away from Lu’s house, and is surrounded by rosewood furniture markets. The room is very large. The twin room we stayed in was equipped with a 1.35-meter bed with a very comfortable mattress. The bathroom is also very large, with independent toilet and shower, and the basin area is at least 5㎡. The room is also equipped with a multifunctional sofa, which can be used for sitting or lying, suitable for a relaxing nap. The breakfast variety is quite rich, including Chinese, Western and noodle stalls. There are many vegetable salads to choose from, and more than 10 kinds of stir-fried vegetables, fried noodles and fried rice. The service is generally good. Xiao Qiao at the front desk gave us some cookies when we checked in. After we entered the room, we asked the switchboard how to open the refrigerator and the service staff immediately came to our rescue. The overall feeling is that it is at the high four-star level, and the price of 500+ including two breakfasts is acceptable during the Spring Festival."

Outside the window is the bamboo forest, you can eat the fresh bamboo shoots dug that day, and the taste of the aunt at the hotel is very good. The activities arranged by the homestay are even better. Picking tea and fried tea, digging bamboo tube rice, and making tea soap are full of time. It is not boring to take the children to go there. Even if you don’t want to participate in these activities, it is good to stroll around in the mountains to breathe fresh air and drink tea and chat. The homestay also provides free photos.
