"This is my first time leaving such an angry review on Trip.com. First, the pros: The location is excellent, very close to the bustling Malioboro Street, which is incredibly convenient. The hotel facilities are good, and it even includes a microwave and a refrigerator. Now for the cons: Trip.com showed a king-size smoking room, but at check-in, I was told only twin rooms were available for smoking. The front desk staff then offered to switch me to a twin room. The prices for these two room types are completely different, which is essentially false advertising and deceptive to consumers. Furthermore, the room only had tea bags, no coffee. This is the first time I've ever stayed at a hotel that didn't provide coffee, which made for a very poor experience."

"The service is good, but we didn't put the sign ” Make up my room ” but the staff enter the room without our consent. We didn't request any new towels or whatever. And the toilet window style, a bit less privacy. We can see who in the toilet haha, we had to turn off the light for privacy. But if they were spouse maybe it's not a big deal. Overall, clean, comfort and nice place to stay! "

"This is my go-to place. If I'm ever in Yogyakarta, I always stay here. The rooms are more spacious, and the breakfast menu is incredibly varied with lots of options. It's perfect for a weekend getaway with the family. The location is strategic, close to Malioboro."

"I don't usually post reviews, but I had such a wonderful experience that I felt compelled to share it. In short, I highly recommend this place. I stayed here for 3 nights on a solo trip to Yogyakarta. The staff are incredibly kind. Many Indonesian guests stay here, so I had some great conversations and even shared cigarettes with them, which made for a really good experience. The room was also clean. At night, the surroundings are quiet. If you're in the lobby, the staff will chat with you after their shifts, which is fun. They also offer food that's freshly prepared in the kitchen, and it's both cheap and delicious. As for the bed, it's comparable to what you'd find in a business hotel in Japan. The shower room is spacious, like a separate room within the main room, which is quite unique compared to other hotels. It's much better than the common unit baths where the floor gets soaking wet, so I really liked it. Regarding the location, it takes about 25 minutes to walk to Yogyakarta Station, but Lempuyangan Station is just a 5-minute walk away. So, if you're energetic, you can walk to the city center; otherwise, use Grab or Gojek for a quick ride, or take the train if you want to save money. The only downsides are that there's a mosque next door, so the call to prayer blasts loudly at 4 AM. But if you're sleepy, you'll fall right back asleep, so it wasn't a problem for me, haha. Also, if you leave the shower room door open, mosquitoes sometimes get in. ▪︎ Recommended for: ・Those somewhat accustomed to international travel (especially in Southeast Asia). ・Those who don't want a dormitory but prefer a homelike, slightly local hotel (many Indonesian guests stay here). It's not like a backpacker hostel, so it strikes a good balance. ・Solo travelers. ▪︎ Not recommended for: ・Those seeking a luxury hotel. ・First-time international travelers (however, if you can speak English or are okay with a certain level of cleanliness, it should be fine). ・Those who want immediate access to Malioboro Street. I believe you'll experience the true charm of travel here, something you won't find in a typical luxury hotel."
