My experience at The St. Regis Doha was truly wonderful, right from the first moment at reception with Ms. Gozde, I knew this hotel was beautiful in every detail – you can tell a book by its cover. Her sophisticated welcome, warm smile, and attentiveness to guests made a fantastic first impression. A big thank you to her for such excellent service and wonderful hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed the hotel's luxurious facilities, from the exceptional and varied breakfast spread, to afternoon tea in the hotel lounge with its tranquil and opulent ambiance, as well as relaxing by the pool and sea in the beautiful, comfortable atmosphere. The Grill restaurant experience was also absolutely fantastic, offering some of the most delicious meats we've ever tasted, coupled with excellent service and a distinctive atmosphere. Thank you to all the hotel staff for their warm welcome and attention. It was an experience definitely worth repeating.

I chose Mandarin Oriental over Four Seasons. It's very China-friendly, and since I had a long layover in Doha and wanted a comfortable hotel to relax and visit some sights, this was perfect. The hotel is close to all the attractions – Souq Waqif is a ten-minute walk, and you can see the skyline along the way. Taxis to the museum and art gallery only take five minutes. I opted for the two-meal package, which was great value. It included Chinese cuisine from a Michelin-selected restaurant, and the breakfast quality was also very high, mostly made-to-order. We arrived at the hotel at 8 AM. The person who greeted us that day was a European-looking gentleman in a suit, likely a manager. I was initially worried he might be difficult with Chinese guests about early check-in or changing breakfast times. However, when I explained that we would be checking out that evening and wouldn't be able to enjoy the next day's breakfast, and asked if we could swap it for today, he readily agreed and escorted us to the restaurant. He even arranged for an early check-in, notifying us that our room was ready shortly after we finished breakfast. I'm truly grateful to this manager; he really solved my transit worries. I usually don't bother writing reviews, but I made an exception for him this time 🥰

This hotel is fantastic, highly recommend it! 1. There's a security check at the entrance. We asked why, and it turns out it's a government-owned hotel, so they ensure 100% security. 2. It's just a one-minute walk to the metro station, right across a small street from the hotel. 3. Parking is free. If you're driving, you just hand your keys to the attendant at the entrance, and when you leave, you exchange a card for your keys, and they'll bring your car to the front. 4. There's free coffee in the lobby. Trying a date with coffee is highly recommended; it’s a very authentic Arabian experience. 5. It's only about 300 meters from Souq Waqif, making it incredibly convenient for dining and exploring. 6. It's also very close to the airport, about 20 minutes by metro with just one transfer. 7. Security is top-notch. We tested it, and if you lock the door from the inside, even a room key won't open it from the outside. The front desk staff were very friendly. When we were taking photos before leaving, they even offered to help us take a family picture. Although it might be a bit more expensive than chain hotels like Hampton by Hilton, after comparing everything, it feels incredibly worth it!

The hotel's location is great, about 20 minutes from the airport, and the surrounding commercial facilities are also good. The hotel environment is nice, and the room size is quite large. It has both indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a gym. The hotel breakfast isn't a buffet; it's delivered to your room by staff. Overall, it was a good experience.

I had an early flight at 6 AM, so I arrived at the hotel around 8 AM. The Tunisian guy at the front desk said my room wasn't ready and might not be until 2 PM. So, I decided to have breakfast at the hotel while I waited. The Bhutanese girl in the restaurant saw I was alone and was very friendly, bringing me a small cake. I was still eating around 10 AM when a new girl at the front desk told me my room was ready. What a pleasant surprise! The room was very business-oriented yet comfortable. It had a corner sofa lounge area and a desk facing the sea. The bathroom was also excellent. Even without a balcony, it was still very comfortable. The hotel leans more towards business, and I noticed quite a few people discussing business during breakfast. There's an ATM on the first floor, which is very convenient. Plus, for a W Hotel in Doha, the price was quite reasonable.

i’ll be completely honest again and again 🙂🙂this is the first time i’ve felt the need to write a hotel review like this. we’ve stayed in so many hotels in doha and, thankfully, we’ve never really had any major problems or disappointments. but this time, i feel that, as a customer, i should share my experience and my honest thoughts. the main thing i want to say is that customers are allowed to complain or raise concerns, and a manager should know how to handle complaints professionally. a customer should never be made to feel like they are attacking someone simply because they are expressing a concern. listening respectfully should be the first step. we chose to stay at this hotel for around three months while waiting for our home to be completed. out of all the hotels we’ve stayed in doha, we chose this one because it was new to us and looked modern and well-maintained. unfortunately, our experience with the management was very disappointing. i want to make it clear that the receptionists, maintenance team, and other staff have been good to us. they have been helpful, respectful, and know how to communicate with customers properly when there are concerns. i genuinely appreciate their service and have nothing negative to say about them. however, my experience with the manager of a&h hotel was completely different. whenever i tried to raise a concern, instead of simply listening and addressing the issue, he would continue talking and responding in a way that felt rude and dismissive. it felt like he was more focused on arguing his point than actually listening to the customer. after staying here for three months with my husband because our home is under construction, i honestly expected a much better level of communication and respect from the manager. no customer should feel uncomfortable or unheard when trying to make a legitimate complaint. i honestly don’t understand whether he is trying to defend the hotel at all costs or simply avoid accepting customer complaints, but that is not the right way to handle a customer concern. complaints should be listened to professionally, even when the manager does not agree with the customer. what makes this even more disappointing is that we have seen other reviews mentioning similar concerns about the manager. after experiencing it ourselves, i can understand why people have raised this issue before. so, once again, salute to the staff. the receptionists, maintenance team, and other employees have been good and respectful throughout our stay, and they deserve recognition for that. unfortunately, i cannot say the same about the manager. after staying here for three months, this is honestly one of the most disappointing experiences i’ve had with hotel management. a customer can be wrong, and a manager can disagree with a complaint, but there is always a respectful and professional way to communicate. unfortunately, that was not how i felt i was treated.

We enjoyed a staycation at the Westin with a full board option. This is an all in one resort and has many good amenities including a nice pool area, great restaurants, and many other services on site. The hotel has a pleasant smell to it and the staff are super friendly and welcoming. The room is very big with a large bathroom. The room had a lot of furniture including a comfy couch at the foot of the bed, a desk, a large tea/coffee station closet area, comfy bed and lots of cabinets and countertops to put our things. The bathroom was a standout for sure with a large closet area with lots of drawers, a large shower with excellent pressure, and a bath tub that could get a view of the TV in the bedroom. We appreciated the white tea scented bath products and lotion. The room was showing a bit of wear to the carpet and some of the cabinets but nothing major. We felt the room was good and clean. With the full board we got to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner each day. The breakfast was a good buffet filled with western and Asian options and was well stocked each morning. They made hot drinks to order which we enjoyed each day. The lunch was a la carte during our stay and we enjoyed some good steak, chicken and salads during our stay. The sticky toffee pudding at Seasonal Taste was a standout for dessert and we would recommend it. For dinner we were allowed to go to their Iftar tent and it was very good with plenty of options for sushi, pasta, Indian and Thai dishes. The baked fish and Thai curries were really well made for their Ramadan tent. There was also a Baskin Robbins ice cream cart at the iftar. We also enjoyed watching the live entertainment with the swirling dervish and a live band with Arabic instruments. They have some other good restaurants on site including Sabai Thai and Hunter's Grill but those were closed due to Ramadan. We have been at Seasonal Taste around the holidays and they will do special dinners and brunches so it is worth checking out. We had a bit of a mix up on our last day for lunch but the hotel resolved it quickly. The main pool area was closed during our stay but we had access to the indoor pool which was nice and empty when we visited. They have nice and clean locker rooms by the main pool and near the indoor one as well. We used the Heavenly Spa desk to use the squash courts, fitness studio and booked a massage. Staying at the hotel gave us access to the indoor pool and preferred rates for both the squash court and massage. There is not much near this hotel other than other hotels which also have some good restaurants. The metro station is also a bit of a walk from here and there is not too much to do in the area so we would recommend staying in and maximizing your time at the hotel if you are booking here. If you do need to go out we would recommend taking Ubers.

We had a very good stay at this hotel. The amenities are definitely the highlight here with a very nice beach, large outdoor pool area and plenty of on-site dining options. The hotel is centrally located in Doha and is close to the Al Qassar metro station which gives good access to many popular areas and attractions in the city. Check in was quick and easy when we arrived but I found we had a different experience coming into the hotel each night despite staying there. We brought some snacks on our first day without issue but then on the second day they made me sign a sheet to say we were bringing in food. They have a scanner at the door and didn't make me use it a couple of times but they made sure we walked through with our phones and wallets on the side our last night. He door procedures should be consistent. The room was nicely appointed with plenty of storage space, a large desk, a coffee/tea station, fully stocked mini bar and a very comfy couch. The bed was large and very firm with some soft/moldable pillows. There is a pillow menu at this hotel and it is recommended to call early to get access to the pillows. We had a very good night's sleep our first night but we found there were some very disruptive and noisy people in the hall just after midnight on our second night at the hotel. There is a pretty good phone service and once you call they are able to provide housekeeping, extra water or fill any requests quickly but we had difficulties reaching them on our second night. The bathroom was good with some nice bath products including body lotion. There was a large counter, bidet, big bath tub and a nice shower. We felt the water flow rate could be a bit stronger for the bath tub and it took a bit to fill the bath tub one evening. We have stayed at other hotels and areas in Doha and would say this hotel had one of the best beach areas we've seen. There were lots of lounge chairs, activities and some very soft towels. The sand at the beach was well maintained during our visit. The bar for the beach and pool area was nice and during high season they have QR codes by your seating area so you can order online and have food/drinks delivered to you. They have daily scheduled activities like beach volleyball and paddle. Near the beach area is Mykonos restaurant which is a very good Greek restaurant. We booked the hotel with breakfast and would recommend trying it out. Coral Restaurant was not too busy during our stay and the staff are kind, friendly and attentive. They make some very good coffee here and we appreciated that they remembered us and our preferences. The breakfast area has good Arabic and Western options, plenty of cheese, pastries, fruit, smoked fish and some tasty infused honey (vanilla, mint, thyme, spiced, etc.). They had made to order eggs, pancakes and waffles during our stay. Some restaurants on site take their IHG rewards programs for discounts and others will take discount applications like Urban Point for BOGO meals so it is worth asking in advance. We would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a relaxing stay with everything on site or want to be centrally located. We felt it was well priced when we stayed considering the amenities and condition of the hotel.

Exceptional Stay and Great Service! I recently stayed at the Ramada Encore by Wyndham Doha and had a wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly welcoming, professional, and attentive throughout my entire visit. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The location is also highly convenient, making it easy to get around the city. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Doha and look forward to staying here again!
