The house has a stand up arcade game, firepit on the back deck, portable ping-pong set and PlayStation 2 with loads of games and our favorite karaoke!Nestled within the trees of Massanutten Resort, you’ll love the wooded setting as you escape from the hustle and bustle of the world. Located on the only street in Massanutten with ski-out access, our home offers a unique convenience for ski enthusiasts. While not directly on the slopes, it’s just a quick 1,000-foot walk to the end of our cul-de-sac, where you can ski out onto the top of Easy Street slope.The house is pet friendly but guests must get prior approval before arrival and pay a $100 pet fee. Nestled within the trees of Massanutten Resort which is not just a ski resort but truly a year-round destination. Of course there are amazing winter sports, with 1,110 feet of vertical - the most in VA, MD, or PA. The resort includes 14 trails, all lit for night-skiing as well and offers ice skating and snow-tubing. But don’t forget about the golf, mini-golf, go-karts, bungee-jumping, zip line, mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding, spa…and the INDOOR WATER PARK open all year-long. JMU and everything else in Harrisonburg is 20 minutes away, and there are several breweries, wineries, and restaurants within 15-20 minutes of the house.During the summer (Memorial day to Labor day), our guests may use the Stonewall Terrace Pool (4030 Peak Drive) at Massanutten, which is a 4-minute drive from the house. Farmers markets, movie and performing arts theatres, art exhibitions and more.Upon entering the main level of our home, you will be greeted by vaulted ceilings with skylights and an open plan living/dining room with gas-log fireplace and a spacious, well stocked kitchen and laundry room. The split bedroom plan has the master bedroom (ensuite) with queen bed and 4K TV on one side and two additional bedrooms and second full bath on the other side. The screened porch and deck (with gas grill) are accessed from the dining area. The living room also has a 64” 4K TV, Blu-Ray player and a Boss CD/Radio player.The lower level features a spacious rec-room with another gas-log fireplace, foosball table, 64” 4K Roku TV, Blu-Ray player with an extensive assortment of movies. There are also doors that lead to a level wooded outdoor area. The second master bedroom (ensuite) with queen-size bed and 4K TV is on one side while the remaining two bedrooms and full bath are on the other side.We provide a generous starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher pods, hand soap, laundry detergent and trash bags. We also supply a full complement of bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths.
