Hi trip
on day I check in, I requested for a 2 pin power adaptor.a lady reception told me to pay 300NT and on day I check out,I will be refunded.she did not say I need to sign any form for it.
On the day i checked out.a young man say no record of the adaptor I borrow and my deposit. The young man say he will call lady to check. Soon after the lady came back shortly.
She deny that the above.she say I never borrow the pin and she never take my NT300. I told her this Is not true.my wife and kids also vouch for me. All my family and I became very angry and it spoilt our day.
I told her this is not correct,the hotel didnt keep record is hotel fault.i told her to rewind video records to verify.She say will take hours to do so.i told her she is lying and is out to cheat my NT300 .I told her to escalate to manager but she say Manager not around she can't make decision and requested me to wait.i told her I can't wait and I need to go.i left my taiwan hp no. With her and I will complain as I was left with no choice.she left a very bad impression of taiwan and she is dishonest
I told her either she pay me NT300 now or I will complain and leave without NT300. She opt for the latter.
Shortly I hail a taxi and left.awhile later the hotel call me and say they found out there indeed my NT300 was handed over.i need to u turn back (incur extra cost on taxi and time) to claim my NT300. Why hotel can verify so fast after I left as they say need hours to check recording?this episode is unacceptable.not sure how many past visitors was cheated in this same way.the hotel management should deal with this lady staff.
I want compensation for the losses I suffered if possible.
Room has musky odour,towel has holes,bathroom water was brownish.stay at your own risk.
