The Westshore Grand, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Tampa

Proximity to the airport and different ballparks was good. The bathrooms were outdated and overly bright hallway lighting would seep into the room at night.

We stood one night and absolutely will stay again. They provide shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Check in was lovely except the person who check us didnt realize we paid for breakfast when we paid. The next morning we attempted to get breakfast and had to pay so my husband had to go back to the front desk to show proof and then were given a voucher.... The walls are thin and we could hear our loud neighbors but that's not the hotel's fault. You will park behind the hotel and want to park on the 2nd level only. Signs are limited or not comprehendable. We were lost for several minutes. You will go thru the doors into the hotel. Then find the elevator to the your floor. Look for signs that say hotel guests only. If you park first, you'll want to go to the lobby and then check in. There is a great place to eat within the hotel. I think it was $25 per person for buffet breakfast or you can buy a normal breakfast. They have a grab and go stand as well. They have a bar area as well. Someone is at the front desk and/or available 24/7 which is also nice. As far as my room, it was certainly clean to my standards.

The outside of the hotel is a bit outdated, however; the inside was very nice and clean. The hotel layout in the suite was very spacious and clean. The only feedback I have was regarding the bathroom shower. The water started to fill up in the shower. I called the front desk, it took a while for someone to come up to take a look. When they did some up, the guy looked at it and said he fixed it but it was not fixed. I'm assuming there may have been hair and other bodily matters stuck in the drain which made taking a shower feel uncomfortable and not enjoyable at all. Going forward, they should check to ensure the drains are unclogged after each guest.

Enjoyed location of this hotel prior to our family cruise. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful.CVS located next to hotel.

Nice hotel and I would stay here again, but for price it should be better. With a bit more attention to detail and maintainence it could be excellent. Easy fixes like tub drains very slowly, poor lighting in room, paint scuffs and chips atound metal doorframes in hallways that could easily be fixed with a little paint.... We ended up calling front desk 3 times from airport to get instructions to find shuttle: Hint--ignore all the signs that say "Hotel Shuttles". You have to find the train to Rental Car Center, then find a rather isolated and lonely Public Bus Stop, again ignoring the sign to Hotel Shuttles. The last run of the evening picks up at 10:30 PM. A more detailed hotel website or email, or a more helpful desk clerk is needed. On a positive note, area is great with shopping mall and several excellent restaurants one block away across street, a Publix grocery store next-door, and an excellent Indian food restaurant (currently take-out only) directly across the street at the BP gas station. You order and pay at a food truck as the restaurant itself is closed for remodeling. It was open until midnight.

The property is centrally located. The staff was excellent and the hotel comfortable. It’s a good property. The only weird thing was that the toilet was the lowest height and a bit outdated. The room lighting was on the economy side so not so bright.

We got there for an overnight stay to go to Tampa airport. It took them a while to find our rooms, but the rooms were nice. We also liked the free shuttle to the airport.

The Bed and rm amenities comfortable. NOT LIKED: Nvr received items like extra blankets or chairs at poolside@ confirmed requests made. NO follow up to say "unavailable or ran out,etc."

The bathroom was dirty and the ceiling was leaking it took 1 hour for them to come and they still didn’t do anything. The room didn’t come with a remote and when I asked for one they just insisted I didn’t see it. I don’t recommend
