The room was clean & well sized. The floors squeaked so you could hear every step you made in the room, or the people in the room over you. I checked in around 11pm & the front desk person was I’m sure trying to be friendly, but also was asking questions that put me at risk as a single woman traveling alone.

Third time staying at the property great location great staff and clean! I would like to see a debate on the bed some kind of heavier blankets! And a little bit more detail to the breakfast in the morning! The rooms in the property are very clean!

I'm from the Tampa Bay area but recently moved to Chicago. Came down for the holidays to visit family in Clearwater and needed a last minute hotel room near the airport for my return flight at 8am. This Holiday Inn Express is fairly brand new and the building and room were very clean and nice. The room was very comfortable and felt like good quality and designed modern. It's also right next door walking distance (2 min walk) to a Starbucks, Chipotle, McDonalds, etc. Target down the street and Walmart. Very convenient and only a 7 min drive to the airport. The free breakfast at 6am was also surprisingly good and a lot of options to choose from including eggs, pastries, biscuits and gravy, cereal, etc. Would recommend for the price free breakfast. Was worth it to me.

This is a new Hotel so it is obviously cleaner than most, however, the staff was either too busy or short people because I had a problem with my TV and the front desk person said they would be right up to reset it and they never came up. I went out and then I left early the next morning but it is a matter of principle and doing what you say you will do. No call No show, when you say you will come right up is unacceptable. On top of that I requested a wake up call for a very early flight so I could get breakfast before I had to leave, and they said I was all set for a 6am wake up call and, no wake up call was made. This is a really important screw up, that could have caused me to miss my flight, but based on the no call no show I set my phone alarm as a back up and was lucky I did that or I would have missed my flight.

The TV in the room did not work. We made three trips down to the front desk to ask for the tv to get fixed. Desk gave us a different remote control 2 times and never responded the 3rd time. TV never was working when we checked out.

Brand new hotel so the rooms were clean not muggy and moist. The staff was friendly and the parking is convenient.
