Tui Blue Suite Princess - Adults Only

On arrival we were pleasantly greeted with wine and quickly booked in. We had booked a premium deluxe junior suite and were on floor 9. The multi coloured rug had a very large brown stain on it and though didn’t look particularly well worn looked grubby. Bathroom and shower floor, rails and behind door had heavy limescale deposits and brown staining. The sunbeds on the balcony were very dirty with bird mess and tanning oil stains. I raised this with the rep who advised that they would arrange a deep clean of the room but could not move us as the hotel was full. I was told that we were definitely in a premium room as all rooms were the same. This was not the case as I observed other rooms with 4 poster beds and extra space. Though the bird mess was wiped off the sunbed the deep clean did not occur. Only one pillow on each of twin beds which were are very firm. Beds were a good size and bedding clean. Towels very worn and washed out though changed daily. Mini bar stocked regularly with soft drinks, water and coffee. Pool bottom scrubbed daily and pool attendant was seen disinfecting beds in that area daily. Only pool area issue was sunbeds are very close together and despite efforts of hotel to stop bed reservation with towels, on 2 days was unable to source a bed. Food at the hotel is the usual salads, cheeses, cold meats, breakfast is good however lunch and dinner often samey. Highlights were delicious prawns, beef and mash, pasta with garlic and tomato. Fruit and veg always fresh. Spa gift in room however this is paid for by premium costs. Room is soundproof, aircon okay if just a little noisy. The downside was room cleanliness and despite always washing and sanitising my hands I contracted gastroenteritis at the hotel (not left the site for 4 days) and was rushed as an emergency to hospital as due to the symptoms I became seriously dehydrated. The hotel reception were helpfulness supportive. Full diagnosis and trea**ent provided by the hospital who were efficient. Taurito village is just hotels and a few shops. Paving is dirty and cracked though water park looks fun and gardens are pretty. Sand, though dark, is very sparkly and sea nice and clear. Daily trip to Puerto de Mogán by shuttle is good though an extra hour there would be nice. Regular public transport nearby. Entertainment at the hotel seemed good, though we preferred the piano bar to the “nightly entertainment” area (club life not my thing). Bar and waiting staff work really hard and go out of their way to ensure you are looked after which is not an easy job for them due to lack of numbers. Weather was fabulous. The food serving areas are quite open and you will often see handles of serving tools placed on food and guests handling food with their fingers. I believe this is how I became ill. We had the best week’s holiday here! As soon as we arrived we were given a glass of bubbles! Check in was speedy and finding rooms were easy too. Rooms have everything you need: fridge, tea and coffee facilities, TV, balcony, etc. Also the sunset you get from the room on a nice evening is amazing! Pool area is great. Plenty of sun lounger’s available at all points throughout the day! One heated pool and one cold pool. Both lovely in the nice weather! Bar staff are great especially the ones that make the effort to learn your favourite drinks. Drinks that are offered are fair and really nice cocktails! Food varies everyday and is good. Even at peak times you are waiting absolutely no longer than 5 minutes to be seated. Also having one nights free meal at the culinarium was a massive bonus for us. We had a lovely meal here. Thank you so much we had a great stay and would highly recommend!

We’ve visited the Suite Princess on three occasions and this latest visit has been just as good as the previous ones. The staff here are excellent and can’t do enough for you, friendly, efficient and smiling. The location is superb right next to the beach in this wonderful bay, the views from your room balcony and pool area are magical and unobstructed. We’ve always found the hotel to be clean, comfortable and welcoming. The staff work hard to keep it this way watching from our balcony seeing an army of them cleaning tables, chairs, settees, floors, tiles, sun beds and pool every day. The interiors are also looked after in this way, our room was always spotless and cleaned every day. Food is plentiful, varied and tasty and from 0630 hrs until midnight there are only a couple hours during that time that food is not available to guests. Likewise drinks are mostly available all day and the new pool bar is a big hit with us. All in all a great holiday experience and a hotel we shall visit again.

Exceeded all our expectations, already re-booked for 2025. Able to relax and chill from the start. Accommodation and general areas spacious and not crowded. Food choices allowed many types and country foods to be tried. Entertainment varied and fun. Our thanks to all the people who helped us have a great break.

We booked this holiday to celebrate my husband’s birthday and our wedding anniversary. I had originally booked the Princess hotel facing, when I realised it was half term, I decided to change to the Tui Blue Suites adults only, how glad I am that we did. On checking into our room, we were delighted to find that we had been updated to a superior suite and it was fabulous, the view was amazing. We received a welcome gift of wine and then chocolates on my husband’s birthday. The furnishings were tasteful and modern and the bed was one of the comfiest hotel beds ever! We found the hotel to be clean and well presented and the staff are indeed a credit to the hotel, so hardworking, but always a smile and a pleasant manner. The food and drink on the whole was really good, plenty of variety, in fact, if you would be really fussy if you couldn’t find anything to eat here. Never had to wait too long to be served with drinks which for AI were of a good standard and as plentiful as you wanted them to be. Taurito itself is very small, not a lot to do, but good place for relaxation, we used the courtesy bus to Mogan for a change of scene and enjoyed it very much. Having read some mixed reviews we were a little apprehensive about our trip but what a pleasant surprise! We loved everything about it. The room were so spacious and well appointed and we loved the large terrace with beautiful views across to Puerto Mogán. The cleaning was a little hit and miss but it wasn’t a problem. Food was excellent with a varied choice at each meal and for the size of the main dining room the service was very good- we never had to wait for a table or to be served drinks.The desserts were a bit disappointing, a bit samey and quite synthetic. The quality of our meal in the Culinarium was very good, we wished we could have had a second visit. We particularly liked the policy of not reserving sun beds which makes life so much more relaxing for everyone. We took the shuttle bus into Puerto Mogan which made for a pleasant morning out and also hired a car ( very easy through the hotel) and explored beautiful Gran Canaria. A thoroughly enjoyable week, excellent value- we are already planning a return visit later in the year.

My wife and I have just returned from a weeks stay at the TUI Blue Suite Princess in Gran Canaria. We wanted a relaxing holiday after a very busy few weeks work over the Chris**as period. We’ve stayed at other TUI Blue couples only hotels recently the last been in Croatia in October. The weather at this location in Gran Canaria is stunning at the moment so we have had an amazing week. We upgraded our room to a deluxe suite at a small cost and we certainly weren’t duds appointed! More of the room later ! We flew from Gatwick on a TUi flight and were met by a rep at the airport and directed to our coach. Within an hour we’d arrived at the hotel. First impressions were really good. The hotel has a huge entrance and a magnificent view over the bay. We were welcomed by our TUI reps with drinks and within 10 minutes we were booked in and in our room. The suite we had was on the second floor and had a lovely see view and aspect. The room was very trendy and very big. Lots of nice artwork with welcome sangria and nibbles. The hotel was 3/4 capacity during our visit. The food was very good with a lot of variation and choice and all the waiters were extremely professional and attentive. The breakfasts were really good with the obvious choice of a full English. The only gripe. The bacon. Well it’s never the same as home is it !!! The bars are fantastic and offer named brands such as Gordon’s Gin , Smirnoff vodka and famous grouse whiskey all included in the all inclusive without having to upgrade to premium drinks. They also offered some lovely cocktails. I’m a chatty fella and enjoyed talking to the bar staff. Every one of them were really happy in their jobs and very professional. I was at the pool bar and a lady in front of me just demanded a sangria. The barman poured her one from a bottle !! Coincidentally I was ordering one for my wife. !! He smiled at me. It took him a couple of minutes to make but my wife said it was the best sangria she’d ever had. The evening entertainment was very good as well. We didn’t take part in any of the fitness activities however people we met said it was very good. The Tui reps were great and very informative . We did the Island highlights trip which was fantastic. Probably the best trip they offer. The location is amazing with lots of potential for morning walks. We did a 3 mile walk every morning with some amazing views. We met some folks that have been coming to this hotel every year for the last 15 years. It was just meant to be a quick break away to get some sun for a week but ended up being a fantastic experience that my wife and I will never forget. I’m 58 years old and have been on a lot of holidays. Don’t expect 5 star plus. Just know you are going to have a great time away , in the sun being looked after by members of staff from he hotel that genuinely enjoy their job and want you to have a great time. We are definitely going back next year

This hotel is wonderful. Our last day today and we have had a really lovely 10 days here. The Tui staff are so helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Hired a car through them, delivered and collected from the hotel. Insurance is included. Great way to see the island. The scenery is stunning. Recommend Tejeda, lovely old village in the mountains. Just watch out for the cyclists, they are everywhere. Just had my 2nd massage with Sophia, absolutely wonderful. Thoroughly recommend this hotel. Spotlessly clean and food is excellent. Will be coming back soon.

Just returned from a very enjoyable week at this lovely hotel. We wanted a relaxing week and it’s exactly what we got. When choosing this hotel and resort we almost didn’t book due to the 120 min airport transfer time as detailed on the TUI website, however this is misleading, it took us just circa 35 mins on arrival and circa 45 mins on return via the transfer bus, so we are really glad we didn’t let that stop us from booking here. The hotel itself including bars, restaurants, pool area are lovely, modern and clean. Room, large modern room directly over looking the pool with a sea view, we were on the 2nd floor which was fine but if had a choice would have picked a higher floor. The vast majority (99%) of the staff are terrific, nothing too much trouble, friendly and helpful. Food, no complaints from us plenty to choose from, breakfast, lunch (we had near the pool area) and evening main restaurant, also ate at the a la carte one evening, again can’t emphasise enough all very very good. Drinks we didn’t upgrade to premium and it was fine for us. Pool area, enjoyed lounging by the pool always plenty of loungers available (albeit a little close together). Evening entertainment, shows every night in the main bar, mainly singing acts which we thoroughly enjoyed, our favourites being Elvis and a trio of gentlemen singing soul music. Also enjoyed the singers in the piano bar. Wednesday and Friday there were singers by the pool bar between 4:30 and 6pm and the TUI reps served Cava whilst the sun was setting this was a lovely touch. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday in a lovely hotel then I would highly recommend it here. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay enjoyable.
