Premier Inn Tenby Town Centre

We stayed at the Premier Inn in Tenby for 3 nights during the October half term. The hotel is ideally located - just round the corner from the sea, 5 minutes walk from the train station and minutes from the shops and pubs. The staff gave us a really warm welcome and were so friendly and helpful during our stay. We had standard rooms with showers instead of baths. These were smaller than other Premier Inn standard rooms we have stayed at elsewhere, but still plenty of room for a short break. We didn't eat an evening meal in the hotel, but the breakfast was plentiful. There was a wide choice of food available from cooked breakfast, to cereals, breads, fruit, yoghurt etc. Although there was only one coffee machine, so you often had to wait for someone else. Our rooms overlooked a small garden courtyard at the back of the hotel, which I believe is owned by the retirement building next door. So we had a nice outlook. I think some of the rooms on higher floors at the front have a view of the sea over the town. Perhaps these are the Premier Rooms, I'm not sure. However I would have preferred to have been able to open a window for fresh air instead of having to use the air con, which could be quite noisy. Although this seems to be standard in a lot of Premier Inns now.

Won't be coming again. Rooms stink of damp, food was under cooked chicken was chewy and watery, chips was chewy and cold the amount you pay you expect decent food, don't need a qualified chef when your cooking things from frozen and bags of soup , nothing home made. The place has gone down hill big time. Afternoon staff manager moody and unwelcoming.

We have stayed in this hotel on a coupe of occasions in recent years. This time there were a few noticeable niggles and the room felt a bit tired. There was a permanent damp smell in the bathroom. The outside of the windows could have done with a clean, The bed was comfortable enough but even though the temperature regulator was at its minimum, the room was far too hot to get a good night's sleep. All that said, the staff were all without exception very friendly, the breakfast very good and the location excellent. We will stay there again. Perhaps by next time the rooms will have had a minor refurbishment.

Stayed for three nights as a birthday treat for my son overall the room very clean and the food was excellent the only down side is there were no windows that open you had to relay on the air handling system and you had to run the bathroom fan for a longer time due to the steam

This is our go to Tenby hotel and we are yet to be let down. The staff on check-in are always welcoming, friendly and full of advice & tips if you require it. The rooms are spotless with plenty of amenities available, including shower gel, soap, teas & coffees (with plenty more in reception if you'd like extra). The bed is extremely comfy with extra pillows provided. You have the option to have your room cleaned daily but since we only stayed for two nights we didn't opt for this. We had breakfast both mornings and it was 10/10 both times. Everything was fresh and served hot with a huge variety of choice available. We can't wait to return again soon!

I always choose Premier Inn for the very welcoming staff, excellent customer service from everyone in the hotel, Jade had a warm smile and was extremely helpful to me, also Lauren who kindly assisted me with fresh towels and teabags, again really helpful Excellent location, had a lovely breakfast, lots to choose from, our Premier Plus room was great, one issue was the carpet had quite a few stains in a few areas but apart from that another great stay !
