Sangam is a pleasant hotel with friendly staff, fresh food, and clean rooms, making it a solid choice for family vacations. Everything we ate in the restaurant was fresh and delicious. We had booked an Executive room and specified a King bed through a travel site, but were given a twin bed instead. It seemed the hotel was fully booked and couldn't accommodate our request, though the allotted room itself was quite spacious. There are, however, areas for improvement. Service management in the restaurant needs attention, particularly during breakfast, when it appeared short-staffed. This resulted in noticeable delays and confusion with orders. For example, one morning we requested a dosa but were mistakenly served an omelet. While we accepted it, such errors should be avoided. Additionally, there was some confusion with billing, with a discrepancy of around Rs. 400. After 20 minutes of trying to resolve the issue, we decided to pay the difference and move on. Housekeeping also left room for improvement; we found dust on the cupboards, and the bathroom drain was clogged. Despite these minor issues, our overall experience was very positive, and we would certainly recommend this hotel.

The reception staff, easy and fast check in and check out, good rooms and good ambience of the hotel We enjoyed staying as family Breakfast was good and decent enough.Given only 500 ml per person mineral water .Shiuld give atleast 1L of mineral water

A nice, comfortable hotel, conveniently located - close to the Brihadeeswara temple. Rooms are large, there were three was us in one room and it didn't feel crowded. Bathroom and linen are clean. Food is a big plus - high on taste. Apart from their room service menu, their breakfast spread is varied to suit every palate. Also, the traditional south indian fare served for breakfast is excellent. Even though the staff is smiling and pleasant, the only issue is that room service is a bit slow, but otherwise no complaints at all - they even have a pretty big parking lot. Would recommend staying here

Location, staff are very good. Hotel and rooms are clean and well maintained. Food ***** with breakfast was nice and well served. It was my official trip and had a car with driver with us so hotel staff arranged accommodation for our driver, who was driving from Chennai, we found it very helpful.

The rooms are maintained well. Food Quality, varieties are awesome and one could relish Kumbakonam Degree Coffee during breakfast. Courtesy of the staff is excellent. Receptionist Ms Sweeta was handling our reservation hassle free and provided suitable rooms as per our requirements. No words to describe the hospitality of Ms Sweetta's immediate response to all our needs especially towards attending elderly people wants. One Pradeeswaran was handling all our baggages and was courteous. Our stay in Hotel Sangam, Thanjavur for 2 days would be remembered.. Would recommend to all.. Swaminathan L

Staffs were very friendly and pleasant, service orientated. hotel is very near by to main attractions. Rooms are kept clean, toilets are clean. Staffs greet with smile each morning. I would like to compliment staffs, Swetha, Sumaya, Santosh and Bala. They were very cheerful and helpful.

Excellent housekeeper, Arun. He was outstanding. Kept our room clean got our laundry and left us a peacock made of towels on our bed. This is a nice hotel. Laundry done very well for a good price. The bar was very nice as was the restaurant. Didn’t give 5 because the bed was a little hard.
