Bahar Boutique Hotel

Η γειτονιά είναι καλή. Πολλές ταβέρνες και καφετέριες Μείναμε για 6 νύχτες. Κλείσαμε ένα superior δωμάτιο. Λάβαμε δωμάτιο με αριθμό 4.4 που ήταν πολύ κακό: δεν υπήρχε γραφείο. Ο βραστήρας ήταν σε ένα ράφι που ήταν σε μια γωνία του τοίχου και από πάνω η τηλεόραση, μισή στον τοίχο και μισή έξω από τον τοίχο, στο πέρασμα για το μπάνιο. Ο άντρας μου χτύπησε το κεφάλι του στη γωνία της τηλεόρασης όταν προσπαθούσε να φτιάξει καφέ. Θόρυβος από μοτέρ κλιματιστικών όλη την ώρα. Αδύνατον να ανοίξει το παράθυρο. Υπήρχε μια καρέκλα στο δρόμο από το κρεβάτι στο μπάνιο. Δεν υπάρχει άλλο μέρος για να βάλετε την καρέκλα. Πολύ μικρό δωμάτιο. Το ψυγείο κατέλαβε τη θέση των ραφιών στη ντουλάπα. Δεν υπήρχε λοιπόν ράφι για να βάλω ρούχα. Το δωμάτιο ήταν θορυβώδες ακόμα και μετά τις 2 η ώρα το πρωί! Γεμάτη σκληρή ροκ μουσική κοντά. Το πρωί ζητήσαμε να αλλάξουμε δωμάτιο. Έχουμε δωμάτιο αρ. 3.1. Πολύ καλά. Είχε ένα μικρό μπάνιο σπα που δεν χρειαζόμασταν. Αλλά λόγω αυτού του τζακούζι ήταν το πιο ακριβό δωμάτιο που είχαν. Δεν υπάρχουν άλλα δωμάτια. Έτσι μείναμε για άλλες 5 νύχτες. Η σκληρή ροκ μουσική ενοχλούσε επίσης σε αυτό το δωμάτιο. Το πρωινό σερβίρεται από τις 08:00. Αυτό σημαίνει ότι αν έχετε κλείσει μια εκδρομή που αναχωρεί στις 8:00 από το σημείο συνάντησης που απέχει 20 λεπτά από το ξενοδοχείο, θα πρέπει να ζητήσετε ένα κουτί πρωινού. Ζητήσαμε αυτό το κουτί πρωινού 3 φορές. Γιατί είχαμε 2 ξεναγήσεις και φύγαμε νωρίς την τελευταία μέρα για το αεροδρόμιο. Ήταν τσιγκούνηδες. Πρώτη φορά ρωτήσαμε ότι δεν υπήρχε αρκετό φαγητό για ένα άτομο και ήμασταν 2. Έτσι, τις επόμενες φορές προσδιόρισα τι να βάλω στο κουτί. Και δεν έγινε όπως ζήτησα. Δεν υπάρχει αρκετό αγγούρι ή βούτυρο. Πραγματικά μικρές μερίδες. Άφησαν ένα μπουκάλι νερό την πρώτη μέρα. ΟΧΙ πια. Υπήρχε ένα μικροσκοπικό δοχείο με στιγμιαίο καφέ που ήταν αρκετό για 1 άτομο για 1 ημέρα. Το γέμισαν μόνο όταν ρωτήσαμε και μόνο μια φορά. Για την τιμή που ζήτησαν θα έπρεπε να είναι πιο γενναιόδωροι.

What a lovely Hotel. In the heart of the Ladadika district of Thessaloniki. The room was well equipped, spacious and clean. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The area was within walking distance to all sites and we had many food, bar and cafe options at our doorstep. The free signature cocktail was a lovely and tasty bonus. The breakfast options were ideal.

Besides the accomodations, ambience, and quality of Bahar Boutique Hotel, the staff went far and beyond for us. We had a quasi- medical emergency and needed a hospital and (Ms. Nestora and Aggios) were immediately on the task. They directed us to the the appropriate facility and interpreted for us to the taxi driver and the hospital. Everything about the Bahar was excellent!!! Great location and a very quaint bar and delicious breakfast but KUDOS especially to the staff!!!

The hotel is very nice. And I wanted to write a review that was both helpful for possible guests and not damaging for the hotel. That’s why I rated it with 5 starts because my intention not ti harm them. But you need to know that if you want to sleep this is not the place to stay. The hotel has terrible noises all day and night. The construction has a echo that makes every single noise noticeable, I could hear even when they turned on the lights in the room next to mine. On top of that is located in a super busy area, they played drums right next to my window from 1:00 am to 5:00 am. Impossible to sleep. And then at 7:00 am the kids from other rooms where. Already screaming and I could hear them as they were playing literally inside my room. So, hotel nice, staff nice, breakfast nice. But the noise is unbearable and I couldn’t sleep anything the two nights I stayed here. I hope this helps you make a decision and you can have a lovely stay in Thessaloniki.

We stayed for three nights which for us was plenty in a city. The hotel is located very near to the Ladadika district which is perfect for traditional restaurants and alternative bars. As expected the area that the hotel is situated in is busy. Thessaloniki is Greeces second city. There are a lot of people, music, hustle and bustle. It’s in the middle of the city! It’s not quiet, why would you expect it to be? We stayed in room 4.4, the air conditioning worked perfectly, kept us at the right temperature all night. we opened the window in the day for a bit of fresh air but didn’t spend much time time in the room in the day. The bathroom is small but exactly what’s needed, the shower was powerful. The room itself is perhaps a bit on the small side but we only use hotel rooms to sleep in so for us it was fine. Very comfortable bed and pillows. The hotel was extremely clean and decorated to a very high standard. We arrived Friday evening and the receptionist was so friendly and helpful. She arranged for us to go on a tour the following morning and left breakfast boxes in our room. I would recommend going on a tour to mount Olympus, our guide was really informative and the sights were breathtaking. Sunday and Monday we ate breakfast in the hotel, there is a cafe/bar to the side of Bahar Boutique Hotel which caters breakfast for the hotel guests. The buffet was very small but it’s not a huge hotel or cafe so I’m not really sure what people expect. The cooked menu had lots of options and we have no complaints :) We met three receptionists over our three day stay and they were all fantastic! We loved our stay, thank you so much :)

Smallish corner room, no actual wardrobe, built in rack for clothes, not a lot of storage. Shower and washbasin in the room, prefer separate bathroom. Breakfast here was disappointing, no prepared or tinned fruit to have with Greek yoghurt etc, space short on bar to display what is available, hot food prepared on request, spicy eggs were too hot to eat, excessive chilli. The main problem was the noise if you are a light sleeper, night club music and shouting made sleeping difficult until between 2 or 3a.m., even with the doors closed. The air conditioning was good. Reception and staff were really good and very helpful. Position of hotel very good in the daytime.
