Best hotel of my life.
Very clean, the hotel is part the historical palace Raj Mahal.
The staff was very nice and available, especially Mahendra and Rakesh.

We were really looking forward to this hotel. And while it’s in an amazing location and has a whole lot of faded charm, it fell short of expectations. It is very dated and not being cared for at all. Having said that the food is very good in the restaurant which it popular with people visiting the fort.

Het personeel was vriendelijk en het eten was goed (de selectie softdrinks was beperkt). De kamer ziet er mooi uit bij de eerste aanblik, maar is zeer toe aan een opknapbeurt. Vooral de badkamer was gedateerd en vies; er was ook geen warm water aanwezig. Al met al een prachtig gelegen hotel dat de hoge prijs echter niet volledig waard is vanwege het achterstallige onderhoud.

This place was the highlight of our stay. We stayed in Maharani suite and it was worth it. First of all the property is right inside the fort which makes it an amazing amazing location to stay. Secondly the views from the room were great too. Suite itself was huge and also amazing. We later realized that we could have seen the sound and light show from the room itself ;) Food wise - the quality is very good. Only one issue we faced was that for our lunch meal the service was very slow.

The heritage property was out of the ordinary located between two imposing palaces raja mahal and jahangir mahal in fact the hotel was itself a palace the staff was very courteous and the service was beyond compare the food was also very good

Location is the best one that you can have. It’s inside the palace itself. The staff is helpful. Mahendra helped me to get out from town reaching my taxi in a very difficult day for much crowd coming to town

The experience was really good. The hotel is located inside the Orchha Fort complex. It is a former royal guest house converted into a hotel. The service throughout the stay was excellent. The staff had set up an additional bed for us even before we arrived. Had provided extra water bottles without us asking and was very helpful. The dinner was good. The breakfast was different from most other places as they brought stuff that was prepared hot and fresh instead of a buffet. The room was very big and well maintained

Who had very comfortable stay at sheesh mahal hotel at orchha. Our room was located in the jahangir palace, and although very old that is more than 400 years old, it was maintained very nicely, especially the toilet and bathroom nicely renovated the food in the restaurant, especially breakfast was very good, we had a lot of varieties and service was very prompt!

Every thing is exceptional. The hotel is located in the fort itself and gives a feeling of palatial stay with all modern amenities and most hospitable staff.
