I booked a Deluxe Double Room and liked the size as well as the amenities. At first the receptionist said to me that Trip.com informed them a Triple Bed Room so I got three beds when I went in the room. Later on, a service lady quickly converted them to a king bed with a sofa. Breakfast is English-style buffet, nothing neither special nor bad. In general, I enjoyed staying in Mondial Hotel.

Stayed here for 3 nights to explore Tirana.
The hotel is approx 23 mins from the main square so was a bit of a walk if you wanted to come back to the hotel after a day out and change for dinner. We had early dinners in the centre and came back in the evening to the hotel so did not cause us a problem.
Both the rooms and the rest of the hotel was very clean. The bedrooms were more traditional whilst the bathrooms were very modern with a nice shower.
The bar was quiet but nice, and there is a restaurant within the hotel but we did not try it out.
Breakfast was very good, with fried eggs/omelette, sausage and bacon, bread and jams, great fruit and pastries, yoghurt etc. Eating a good breakfast meant that we did not stop for food during the day and had an early dinner.
There was a problem with the hotel pickup but that affected a number of people as we arrived at Tirana airport just before the US Secretary of State. Just one of those things. Returning to the airport was fine which the hotel organised as well as printing boarding passes as mobile versions are not yet allowed at the airport.
Really enjoyed our stay here and as long as you don’t mind the walk to the centre the hotel is great.

Nice entrance lobby with café and seating area. Courteous welcome and check-in. Room and bathroom fine. Good breakfast in pleasant restaurant area. Nice roof terrace with bar-restaurant and small swimming pool. Location good.. 5-10 mins walk to centre, 30-minute taxi from airport

Beim Check in lag dem Hotel angeblich keine Info über unseren Zimmerwunsch vor, als der Kollege nachschaute war der Zimmerwunsch doch vorhanden und man bemühte sich ein passendes Zimmer für uns zu finden. Das hat dann auch alles geklappt. Das Zimmer ist schön und modern eingerichtet, das Bett ist sehr bequem und groß, das Bad fand ich allerdings in die Jahre gekommen und nicht zeitgemäß. Das Frühstück war mittelmäßig, der Bacon wer kalt und die Eier lauwarm.
Das Hotel lag etwas außerhalb, der Fußweg in die Stadt dauert ca 20 Minuten ( zum Skanderbeg-Platz).
Alles in allem ein Aufenthalt der in Ordnung, aber nicht überragend war.
