Checked in, then checked out just a few hours later. Just not a good place for a weeklong stay
I’ve stayed at a 9 hours branch before in Shinjuku but this location is simply too small and too cramped. They ask everyone to check out every morning at 10am to “clean,” but the place still smells musty and moldy so it’s hard to understand what they’re doing
Lockers are too small to fit most luggage, so you either have to put it downstairs or try to squirrel it away in one of the corners of the locker room. Normally I wouldn’t mind this, but this locker room itself was also very small, and if you imagine several travelers trying to access their bags at the exact same time you can imagine how cramped this gets immediately. They don’t have an additional space for coats, either, so space feels even smaller. Their “breakfast” is also not in-house but rather a cafe down the street (but even then, only on certain days because it may close. Then you have to go even farther).
However, the lounge still has a great view of the Tokyo tower, and it’s placed conveniently near Daimon Station and Hamamatsucho Station (where you can grab the Yamanote Line).
I do still appreciate the capsules that 9 Hours offers, I just think this branch is too small and disorganized. Maybe it’s better if you’re carrying luggage for a weekend trip, not a larger suitcase.
