Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku

Great location, decent basic hotel. Provide toiletries, part of the limousine transportation to Haneda and Narita airport .

Event the room is compact, but it's clean and has all amenities with well-designed layout; it doesn't feel cramped. It might be better to get a limousine bus to get there if there are luggages to drag.

One of the dropoff hotel for the orange airport limousine bus. Note that its the last stop. First stop is Shinjuku Station. So of you don't want to wait and don't mind walking just a little, you can actually stop at Shinjuku Station as it takes another almost 20-30mins to route to the hotel even though its so near. I proceeded to one of the checkin counters and the front desk staff asked for my passport. She returned me my passport after checking my booking and confirming it. Then she brought me to another counter who asked for my passport again. He too checked my booking and confirmed it. Then brought me to the auto check in machine and guide me to check in which is quite easy. Right from the start the staffs should have just direct me to the machine instead of manually confirming my booking twice. I just find it abit unnecessary 😅 Crazy selection of self service amenities available right beside the lift. Room was clean but crazily small. My 6feet tall husband looks so out of place in the room and so in the way. 😂 Good thing was the bed is high enough to even put my thick luggage underneath. Excellent idea. 👍 TV has netflix and youtube. 3-4mins walk to the nearest exit from Shinjuku Station.

The hotel is modern, clean, cozy, and is located in a fun, convenient part of the city. Shinjuku Station is just a block away and there are so many sushi, teppenyaki and ramen restaurants nearby (also Wendy's and McDonalds). The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, check-in was fast, and the room seemed sound proof. I recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay in Tokyo.

The location is right next to the Shinjuku station but the room is very quiet. The room is clean and the Hotel provides good services, like spa, restaurants. You can also pick up amenities from the lobby like toothpastes, toothbrushes, hair gels, facial masks etc. We will definitely choose this hotel again when we come back to Shinjuku because of its competitive price and location.

When comparing this 4-star hotel to others in the area that weren't even officially rated, it fell slightly short of expectations. The higher rating didn't seem to align with the overall experience, especially when unrated hotels offered better concierge services (more friendly staff). Despite these observations, it was still a decent stay overall. Location is good.

Very good choice for a hotel. It’s located right beside Shinjuku station with a shortcut to the station located across the road. The rooms, while small, are kept very clean and organized. There’s also laundry machines and vendos in every floor, while the amenities are located on the ground floor. The limousine bus from Narita also makes a direct stop here, which makes it very convenient for all modes of transportation. Definitely worth a revisit!

We stayed 2 nights in Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku and checked out & left our bigger luggages at the hotel conceige as we would like to travel light to other city to visit our friend (staying in Japan) for 2 nights. We came back to stay again with Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku after the short trip. There are also storages at Subway/train station with fee charges apply to store your luggage according to the sizes and storage duration. Photos (for your reference only) provided are the storage with fee charges located opposite road of Keio Department Store at Shinjuku station.
