Not my first time staying here and as usual, they don't accord complimentary early check in, even when they have availability. They are truly a 3* that's pretending to be 4* but charging rates of a 5*. Paying through the roof just for the location. The rooms are dated and small, yet having paid over SGD340 per night for a single room (1 super single bed), and the entire room came with just 1 powerpoint socket. I'm further disappointed that having stayed here almost annually for 5 years in a row pre-covid, they've never bothered to track my preferences and I really dread a room far away from the lifts where I have to drag my heavy luggage through carpeted flooring and dragging my feet after a long day of walking. Goes to show how much they value repeated guests. The front desk staff have lost their smiles except for the 2 younger ones managing the luggage storage. The staff on the day I checked out were a little friendlier but yes, don't expect complimentary late check out either.
Room is also only made up upon request, if you fail to place the magnet on your door before 12nn, it'll not be cleaned.
