Ξενοδοχεία κοντά σε Ueno/Asakusa, Tokyo

A normal 3 stars hotel. Hotel room is kind of small, we can only open 1 luggage in the room. There is only 1 small seat and super small table in the room, we can only sit on the bed to watch TV or to have some snack at night. The room facilities are a bit old. Location is good, only take 8-10mins walk to Ueno station. Love they have a microwave at the hotel lobby, you can use it anytime to heat up food.

The room was small, but it was a good deal considering the price and the location. Easy walking distance to JR Okachimachi station on the Yamanote line, and less than a mile from either Ueno station (JR or Keisei) or Akihabara. Lots of good places to eat and/or shop within easy walking distance.

The location is located at Shin-Okachimachi Station on the Tokyo Metro Toei Oedo Line, about a 5-8 minute walk away. The hotel room facilities are a bit outdated, but it's okay for a simple one-night stay.

Very good location, walk 3 minutes from subway Inaricho (G17 Ginza line). There are many restaurants and minimart around the hotel that is very convenient for us. The room is very clean and big enough for one family (2 adults and 2 children). The staffs are very friendly and all of them can speak English, We really appreciated their support. We will come back again definitely ;)

Although the hotel is not so big, the location is excellent. It is only 1- minute walk from Tawaramachi Metro Station and it is located at a hassle area. The staff are very nice. There are some amenities such as skin lotion, face wash up and spoon etc are free to use. Overall, it is good for a short stay.

Panda themed hotel in a very convenient location in Ueno. It is just a few minutes away by foot to the subway lines, and it is a great place as your final hotel in Japan since the Keisei Ueno station (Skyliner to Narita) is nearby as well. Check-in was easy using a self-service kiosk with the guidance of staff. We were also given a panda themed tote bag which contained stickers and two file folders. In the hallway leading to the hotel rooms there were also edits of famous art pieces with pandas, and in the room, panda sheets, cushions and a huge plush. The hotel was refurbished just a few months back so everything was spotless. Would stay here again.

very accomodating staff clean and complete in our necessary needs like toiletries. i simply recommended this hotel,eventhough we rental the service going to mt. fuji,disneyland and disneysea i saw that ueno station was very near and the hotel place is very much accesible for everything you need like shopping,food and the road iis along the doorstep.

It was a great hotel near Kuramae station. The only disadvantage is that Kuramae station has 2 train lines, Asakusa line and Oedo line and only the Oedo line has a lift while the Asakusa line doesn't have a lift, which makes it tougher to bring your luggages up/down. It will be a better option to travel by car/taxi there (especially if you have a lot of luggages). And make sure to check any special holidays in Japan because on the day we checked out, there was the summer fireworks event which barricade the roads and certain train station exits to be blocked. We almost missed our flight due to the event so please check in advance! But other than that, the hotel was lovely, I found our room was decent size to open 2 big luggages. The toilet was a bit small but it's good enough. (picture of the outside of the hotel during the summer fireworks)

We stayed here for 3 nights & it was one of our best choices ever! We stayed in the Sky View Room, located at the 13th floor. It was pretty spacious as we opted for the Twin Room, so you can open up your luggages rather easily. Comfort wise - beds were pretty comfy in our opinion! The pillow has both a soft & hard side. Toilet wise - clean and pretty spacious. We wowed when we first saw it. Bathtub was nice & shower head flow was good. Plenty of essentials provided. Towels were refreshed daily. Location wise - it's rather nicely located at Asakusa & with a fantastic view of Tokyo Skytree & Senso-Ji temple right from our window. The only downside about the location was that it was quite a walk from the train stations, hence you might often get lost around the neighbourhood as there are many different stations, streets and turns. So if possible, do use Luggage Forwarding service if you can as there are many staircases at the train station. The only main irk for us during the stay was that there were only 3 washer+dryers in the laundry room, so we did have to wait for a pretty long time to do our laundry as most cycles were at least 2hrs long - so if you didn't manage to snag one, you might have to wait for a long time or worst - wake up at an odd hour to do your laundry to avoid the crowd. But other than that, we did enjoy our stay at The Kanzashi! Will definitely consider staying here again when the price is right! 😊

The location is very good, very close to Sensoji Temple and the shopping street, it is convenient to go to the Skytree, but it is a little far from Asakusa Station. It is more difficult to pull the suitcase from the station. This time I lived in a Japanese-style room. Three tatami mats can be tiled in a room. It is very comfortable. You can see the Skytree when you open the curtains. There is a small bar on the tenth floor for free to drink juice and watch the night view outside. The only downside is the front desk service. Whether it is a problem with self-check in, a problem with swiping the card or an unsuccessful elevator swiping the card upstairs, the front desk staff did not take the initiative to help.
