Booked September, got conformation, stayed over Christmas week. Booked in on Monday 23 December, paid in cluding meal deal for 4 days. Booked timings for 4 breakfast and evening meals. At no point (booking, conformation, booking in) told there was no meal deal evening meal available on Christmas day. Went to restaurant on Monday night, not booked in. After breakfast on Tuesday checked with reception that we were booked in for evening meal, yes we were, asked about timings for dinner Christmas day told there wasn't any available, as they didn't do meal deal on Christmas day. They took money for meal. Blame game, computer, new computer system, head office. " no availability at restaurant sorry" So Tesco sandwiches on sea front Christmas day. Tuesday dinner not booked in. Checked with restaurant booked in on Thursday, no, booked directly with restaurant. Did get refund for the missed meal but that's not the point, lack of information. Can not fault room, cleaning staff. Reception staff boardering on disinterested, sorry was all we got. Restaurant can not fault, staff worked their socks off all week for everyone.
