Hotel Parasol by Dorobe

匆匆路過，衹為這邊轉機，所以沒太多印象，早晨的巧克力糊糊印象深刻不好吃，靠近海邊，早晨看看風景還是可以的

Das Hotel liegt zwischen Wohnblocks und es gibt eigentlich keine Infrastruktur. Am nicht so weit entfernten Strand gibt es genau eine Bar. Das Hotel ist schon älter, was wohl dazu führt, dass die Zimmer eher groß sind und es eine Badewanne gibt. Die Einrichtung ist nicht stilvoll und das Einzelbett ist sehr unbequem. Balkon war ok. Die Zimmer sind etwas hellhörig. Das Frühstück war mäßig. Kein Salchichon, kein Chorizo, keine Sobrasada und natürlich auch kein Schinken. Vollautomat vermutlich mit löslichem Kaffee, so dass es keinen Espresso gibt. Dem Frühstück entgeht man nicht, es ist immer enthalten. Den Preis von 44 Euro für dieses 3-Sternehotel empfinde ich als hoch. Im Sommer hat man Strand und Pool.

We have just got back after a week in the Parasol by Dorobe hotel. My partner and I had a lovely relaxing stay there, and our kids - a 10 year old and a 15 year old, had an amazing time too. All of the staff that work at the hotel work extremely hard. I worked in tourism in Gran Canaria for 12 years, so I know what it's like to work in this industry, and they all gave 100%. From Jose and Francisco at the Pool Bar, to Luis, Jairo & Marina on the Entertainment Team, and to Daniel in the Dining Room. All of the other staff too - the Reception Team, the cleaners, the other dining room staff, the kitchen staff, the other bar staff, the maintenance team...too many people to mention...they all play a huge part in making the hotel run as it does. Just like many other businesses - it's the people that are important and make the experience a special one. Thank you to all of you! Muchas gracias!

The hotel was absolutely amazing and the staff were incredibly helpful. The food was good however a lot of fish (which was to be expected), with some themed nights and a lot of option. The rooms were amazing and always very clean whenever we got back. The pool was nice and not too cold. The options for drinks were very broad with the soft drinks you can go up and get yourself whenever. There was however not enough sunbeds as people were queuing and running for a sunbed every morning and still left with not enough. However the entertainment team were absolutely incredible and really made the holiday. They had a slide for the pool, morning pilates and stretching, karaoke, disney show, and much more. They always made sure we were happy or wanted to join in any activities. Jairol was amazing and always made sure we were having a laugh and a good time. He was really funny and always put in the most effort to make the evenings incredible. Would definitely come back as I had the best time.

Just home from our 10 night stay at hotel parasol, our stay was amazing! The food is so good, the pool bar ranges from fruit and vegetables to burgers and pizza. Each day the buffet had different options, we especially enjoyed the themed nights. The staff in the restaurant are so welcoming and helpful. The breakfast has so many different options from fried and scrambled egg to fresh crepes and churros. The food at the show cooking area is so fresh and hot. Daniel in the restaurant was especially helpful and welcoming, he offered us highchairs and directed us to the area designed for babies/ young children and disabled. The rooms are so modern, They are a good size and have a big balcony with chairs and a table, our rooms had a nice view of the beach. Each room also has a small fridge. The pool area is a good size, it is not too small and not too big, the baby pool was amazing for the 1 1/2 year old with us, it was never too busy which is perfect. The pool was an amazing size, it was never tight for space. We especially loved how you could bring pool floats e.g, lilos and rings into the water. Not a lot of hotels allow this. Everyday they had different pool games e.g, water aerobics, volleyball and basketball. During our stay they had an inflatable water obstacle which looked like good fun. The bar is very good, the cocktails are amazing, there is such a good range of different drinks for everyone. We loved the special displayed cocktails that the barmen made. We also enjoyed the lollypop cocktails that Jairol the entertainer made. A special thanks to Francisco at the pool bar. The entertainment during the day was for suited for everyone, most nights they had a mini disco for the kids. The nightime entertainment is also good, around 9:30 it was either a quiz or bingo and prizes can be won. Then at 10 there is shows on stage e.g, flamingo dancing, karaoke, singers etc. The girl entertainers are especially good with children. The park in the hotel is also good for children. There is also ping pong, pool tables and other arcade type games. Javier at reception was very helpful, we gave me bus times for a trip I wanted to make, he was very welcoming. The area is very nice, there is a back gate which takes you straight to the beach. There is 3 nice souvenir shops within a 5 minute walk. There is a supermarket about 10 minutes walk away. To get into Torremolinos town centre you need to get a bus or taxi which is 10-20 minutes away, you also need to get a bus to the market. The only thing I would suggest would be is providing a walkway/ramp from the pool to the building for pram and wheelchair access. It is very hard carrying a pram up the steps especially if the baby is sleeping.

I am now starting my 3rd week in the hotel. One heavy remark: The lift system is a catastrophy. I saw old people trying to get down from the 10th floor to the entry. They had to choose the stairs. Did they ever arrive? Long queus to the dining room. Food and rooms are ok, compared to three earlier November visits in different hotels in Torremolinos.
