Capitol Reef Resort

I’ve visited this place each year for the past 8 years. It’s a wonderful stay with beautiful views. It’s starting to show it’s years(hot tube doesn’t make bubbles, outdated rooms) the staff is always friendly the grounds always look good and you can’t beat the views. I’ll continue to stay here each and every time I visit.

Hello. We loved the location and some amenities offered such as hot tub, year round pool, restaurant on site. It’s a very nice place for the views and animals they had. I did not like the front desk customer service. I felt she was a bit ******. People travel from all over the world and customer service goes a long way. It’s best to be nicer and kind of at least smile. I was not happy with our room. We were placed right by the cleaning storage room and I’m going to list the issues of room. 1. A light bulb on table was flickering 2. Bit of an odor when entering 3. Bathroom door squeaking that needs some WD-40 and a bit too tight if space 4. Shower made noise screaming when in use 5. Keruig coffee machine did not work or is properly fitting to the k-cups provided. 6. Bed sheets had a stain, so not sure if it was even changed. 7. Fridge door would not close properly or not cold enough I would recommend this place. Just the rooms needs to be fixed better to accommodate traveling guests. The kitchen restaurant evening waitress’s on 4/16 were great and would recommend their services. Also a maintenance short older guy next to our room was greeting too. Thank you

Good. Room was nice and clean enough, with restaurant on site. Water pressure and water temperature good. Choose a superior room with balcony, facing the mountain (red cliffs). So peaceful and pleasant. Recommend

雖然是BEST Western Plus 級別的RESORT，但是酒店看上去就是客棧而已，與汽車賓館沒什麼區別。沒有RESORT的感覺。酒店位置有些偏，有些荒涼。不過 酒店背後就是紅砂巖。 房間內部看上去有些優雅，不過，不實用，連毛巾都沒地方掛（衞生間的掛浴巾了）。 不含早餐。性價比不高。

I do a lot of traveling and staying in hotels, and one of the ways I choose a hotel is by the reviews left. I was apprehensive about staying here after seeing some of the negative reviews left recently. Therefore, I booked a room here for one night. I arrived here after sunset so I really wasn't able to see the grounds. However, I was greeted by the desk people and they were very friendly and accommodating. They gave me very descriptive information on the grounds and pointed everything out on a map they gave me during my check-in. They also told me that if I had any questions to please ask. Upon getting to my room, I found it very clean, cozy and warm. After bringing in my luggage I went to the Pioneer Kitchen. My server was very welcoming and very helpful with the descriptions on the menu even though he had a couple of larger groups at tables already eating. I ordered the hamburger with cheese and fries, and it was brought to me way faster than I expected. It was absolutely delicious, and so was the cheesecake. I retired to my traditional King room and I didn't hear hardly anything from other guests around me. No pipes rattling and no people talking at all. I was so impressed with everything I had experienced here that at 3:00 in the morning I reserved another night in the same room. I went to the front desk at a little after 6:00 a.m. and told them that I had booked another room for the night and asked if I could keep the room I was in. It was absolutely no problem.

Such a perfect lil getaway place for my husband and I. The room was so comfortable with a beautiful view of the red rocks! The staff was so kind, caring and super accommodating to our needs!

Don’t order the cobbler at the restaurant. Not sure what that was but it was not cobbler. Some sort of raw dough with cinnamon sugar and canned peaches . Gross.

Not expected this place to be this bad. Maybe it is cause off season crowd wasn’t there. Service is terrible and very less amenities for the price we paid

We got a king size bed room with balcony. The bed is comfortable, the view was nice, hot shower, and restaurant on site is decent and the only one open during the of season. A few things about us. The room was not vacuumed toe nail clippings were on the floor next to the bed. The door did not close and lock very easily which is a problem when you're out all day hiking or for safety when sleeping.
