Dar Saida Beya

No place goes further to make you more comfortable and welcome. Generous and beautiful room, bountiful amenities, great bed and shower, very good breakfast- inside or outside- but all surpassed by the friendliest staff, I found, in Tunisia. Their help and recommendations made Tozeur my favorite Tunisian city. Terrific local hammam, restaurant choices and shopping tips in quasi desert oasis combined with a fascinating introduction to date palm plantations via Eden Palms (essential stop). Special warm embrace to my Dar Saida Beya family: Naziha, Hana, Ke**a, Othmen.

We loved it here! So cute, great location to walk to everything. Very friendly and helpful staff. Best shower this trip so far!

From their website referring the superior room: “This spacious, air-conditioned suite features an LCD TV and a private bathroom with a shower or bath and free toiletries. There is a separate seating area with a sofa” Be aware that this is an intentionally wrong information to persuade the customer for booking the superior room (higher price that the regular room). We were in Chabbia room and it didn’t have a separate seating area, nor a sofa but 2 hard and uncomfortable wood chairs. I asked the person in the desk and he just gave me a poor explanation about every room being different but the truth is that I went for the superior room trusting the description in their website. In addiction, the quality of the mattress is very low and the bed sheets are from a rigid and thick material, making it not comfortable. The staff smokes in the lobby and there is a permanent unpleasant smell every time you walk in. The breakfast is varied although the pastry was too hard. As the pros, it is located in a central location and still is quiet at night. Not my first option if I ever come back to Tozeur.

This place was just what we needed. A lovely place with a warm welcome which we used as a base to explore the region. Our every need was catered for and we were well looked after. The room was done out beautifully and had everything we wanted in it. The staff were all so kind and welcoming. They helped us contact a guide/car for a desert trip. And the food was great too. We would highly recommend this place in the heart of Tozeur.

This is the perfect place to stay in Tozeur if you want to skip the fancy hotels and go a bit more authentic. Let them make you a dinner one night and you won't regret it. Pros Beauty: The Dar is absolutely beautiful with intricate tilework and wood designs. Roof: The rooftop area allows for plenty of space to chill out and see the top of Tozeur Food: The food and services were amazing. The food was legitimately some of the best I've had in Tunisia. Cons Location: It's a bit off the main path but not by much.

Hébergement très recommandé, la décoration, la propreté est sans défauts. Sans compter le personnel trop gentil. Le petit déjeuner est WoW. On va y retourner, c’est sure.

Nous avons passé 3 nuits à tozeur en couple. L’hôtel est charmant et bien placé. Le service est bon, de même pour le petit déjeuner. Bémol : le wifi ne passait pas dans notre chambre, ma femme devait s’assoir devant l’entrée pour utiliser Internet. Dommage de rencontré ce type de problème de nos jours. Le restaurant était fermé mais on a pu mangé un soir en commandant le matin même. Le patio sur le toit est ouvert mais aucun service. Dommage. Un bel hôtel, mais je trouve trop cher pour le service.
