Kanopée Village

We arrived at this campsite after a long drive from the uk with a very excited 10 year old mostly looking forward to the pool and slides, this was not to be. We booked our stay through campsited which clearly stated that there was pools, slides, bar, restaurants and more .. there were NONE! We were told that the pool had shut down 3 months ago but campsited and other sites are still showing pictures of this included. We arrived in a Motorhome and first call was to fill up with fresh water in the onboard tank, we asked were this was twice but still couldn’t find it, finally a member of staff took us to the clean water fill up only to find that it was the hose that you use to clean out portable toilets and was filthy and not acceptable to use for drinking water. There were 3 toilet areas but one was closed and the one nearest to us only had one working toilet. We were told that instead of the pools there was a bouncy castle area to use instead (not quite the same!) The manger wasn’t helpful to start with and said we had to contact campsited which we did.. and to date still had no response from them, absolutely disgusted with them. In the end the manger reluctantly gave us 2 of our 3 nights money back and we moved on. It was in a nice area but was just not what we had booked and expected.

Owners trying to catch our guests at every opportunity. When we booked we were excited by the lovely photos on the website and *********** of the mobile homes. When we arrived we realised it was all a facade. I highly recommend against staying here. A few of the issues: - zero basic amenities - no dishwasher tablet, no toilet roll, no washing utensils for kitchen, no bin bags. Nothing at all. You must buy everything at the campsite shop which over charges by many times. - no aircon - we knew about this but we didn’t realise they didn’t even provide fans (it was 35 degrees). - €33 euros to rent 2 towels - for one night! Unbelievable and the added insult that the towel is the size of a kids towel. - hugely over priced - we paid €260, plus a €100 security deposit plus the towel and bed sheet rental so it was basically €320 - that’s the same as a 5 star hotel that is about a 5 minute drive away! - cleaning - when we checked out we asked about the security deposit. We were told WE had to clean the entire mobile home, floors, windows, basins, showers, toilets - but there were no cleaning products, no clothes and no brush! In short it’s one of the worst stays we have ever had and the deep insult to be charged €260, to be completely mis-sold, to be caught out by the owners at every single opportunity to make money. If you’re caravaning then maybe I get it - you always bring your own stuff. But when you’re driving, stopping over one night or two, when on earth you would have any of these items, why you would even consider (in hindsight) stopping here is beyond me! I would avoid completely.

Stopped hear for 1 x night as a stopover whilst on the way up to catch the train, the site is absolutely amazing, we had a walk into the town grabbed a lovely meal, wish we had more time to spend in such a nice place, will definitely be back

I stayed with my family in the cottage one night for 255 euro. They asked us to clean the room and took deposit 90 euro in addition. Cottage was old and dirty. The floor was so noisy, rain water enters from door although it was locked, there was disposable bed sheet which was terrible to sleep on. When we checked out we made beds, washed dishes and separated garbage. There was no clear instruction how far we should clean it, so I thought it should be enough. The staff did not check the room, just took the key. But later on, they returned me only 40 euro, which they took 49 euro for not cleaning the cottage. The staff service was too rude. Do not waste your time and money here. Very expensive but nothing for service. Even for wifi you should pay.

Très bon accueil, le prêt de vélos à fait le bonheur des jeunes et de leurs parents ;-). L’équipement du mobilhome pourrait être complété d’un aspirateur. Emplacement agréable et spacieux. Accès direct aux bords de Saône

très beau cadre, en bord de Saône. Calme. MOBILHOME récent avec de belles terrasses, bien espacés pour ne pas être les uns sur les autres. Accueil sympathique. Quelques produits disponible à la réception pour dépanner.

Nous avons loué un bungalow 6/8 personnes avec 2 salles de douche 2 wc. Il était très bien équipé lave vaisselle frigo assez grand congélateur. Les plus : ▪︎ l accueil de Veronique et Valérie et leurs bons conseils. ▪︎ la possibilité de commander pain et viennoiseries tous les jours ▪︎ la calme.du camping et son cadre ▪︎ l accces a la piscine des Cascades par un badge ▪︎ la proximité de Trévoux Les moins : ▪︎ pas de points de rencontre type petit snack ou terrain de sport pour que les jeunes puissent se retrouver.

Nous sommes venu à 22 en famille, avec location de 3 chalet et mobile home. Le lieu est sympathique est calme. Facile d'accès avec douche en Mobil home, et aussi en sanitaire collectif. Plutôt bien agencé, avec le fleuve en contre bas pour de jolie balade. Possibilité d'acheter de quoi à l'accueil en nécessite et magasin super et hyper pas très loin. Une belle expérience

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine, camping agréable et personnel super gentil.. Le prêt de vélo est une très bonne idée... Dommage que la piscine " les cascades " est définitivement fermée.. Peut être le noter sur le site internet pour ne pas avoir de déception..
