Owner appeared to me to be put out that although my husband arrived earlier, I did not arrive until 6:00 P.M. It was a long day for me on the Camino, the timing of arrival is just a guess. It is what it is, and the reason they have a business is due to people walking the Camino. The grassy area area on their property was lovely. While the common area was updated and interesting, our room was one of least appealing of our stays along the Camino. My shower was full cold water. Just transactional, and off to the next village.

I can not speak highly enough of the hospitality I received while staying in Atrio Triacastela . All the staff, from Denis to Milo were superb. I would high recommend this establishment to anybody. Peter PS. Thank you for the poncho - it was a lifesaver.

We booked a private room as part of our Camino journey - it was fantastic! A very large bedroom with a fan and TV, bathroom and private lounge area. The Hostess was very kind and let us drop off our backpacks early and we were able to check in just before 1PM. Clothes washing /drying facilities also very good. Highly recommended.

Triacastela is a beautiful stop on the Camino. I would recommend Pension Casa Simon and the host Johann if you are looking for accomodation. He only recently took over the establishment and is transforming it into a beautiful must stop venue aong the Camino. The rooms are lovely and spacious and breakfast is served in the beautiful ground floor drawing room. He offered drinks from his honesty bar on the evening we visitied. He might even play his guitar.

This place is a real gem. Modern decor in a very unique manner. We had a triple room and a twin with single occupancy. They really were brilliant rooms The whole place is clean and very well organised. A special mention is needed for the young woman who hosted us on 4/5 October. She was so pleasant and nothing was too much trouble When we come back next year to take up our Camino where we left off, this is where we will definitely stay

After walking for about 30km to reach Triacastela, arriving at Albergue Atrio felt like a little slice of paradise! The girl at reception was sweet and friendly and had answers to all my questions. I had the double room with its own outside entrance. Sort of like in the basement, which was kind of cool. The bed was super comfortable. The en suite bathroom was great, with a nice shower. Wifi didn't reach inside the room, however, so you need to go to the common room if you need internet access. The common room/living room features some couches and tables and chairs. There is also a big yard where people can hang out outside. Albergue Atrio is close to the bars, restaurants, the supermarket, and it's right on the Camino de Santiago. I wish all albergues were this neat!

BED BUGS. We stayed Oct.10, 2022 and had to leave in the middle of the night because there were bed bugs everywhere (at all stages of the life cycle, so this was a serious infestation, not just a few bugs). Had bites all over. Killed about 50 of them - WAY more on the walls (we took photos!). Those nice stone walls and wood beams? Perfect bed bug hiding places. They were coming out of the pocket door too...it was awful. Also, all the rooms are open-topped (no ceiling) so nothing to stop bugs from one room to move to another. We emailed the owner at 3:30am while we were hiking (we had to hike in the middle of the night because we certainly couldn't sleep there), so they immediately knew of the issue. The owner, Juan, responded, admitting he knew there had been a problem and they tried to deal with it, but obviously not well enough (they shouldn't have been renting rooms until the bed bugs were gone!). Juan promised to send us a refund. It has now been a month and a half and we haven't received any money. Terrible business practice: prioritizing profits over properly dealing with an infestation.

Stayed here during our Camino. Arrived early, but check in was at 1 pm, so we needed to hang out in town for a while. The hostess kindly allowed me to place my backpack and poles in her lodging until I returned. She took great attention to Covid cleanliness, spraying the area upon our arrival, wearing her mask etc. Our room suited our needs and we had our own bathroom in her large home that has been converted to a B&B. Suited our needs for the night. No dinner or breakfast services - you need to walk a few steps into town to the only restaurant.

Entrar en Atrio, es llegar a un Oasis de paz gallego. Tiene un jardín precioso donde disfrutar descalzo después de la dura etapa. Las habitaciones son comodísimas, amplias, muy limpias, con una buena ducha y una ventanita con vistas a ese jardín tan acogedor. Tanto Javier como Hugo son grandes profesionales, estuvieron pendientes de nosotras en todo momento. Ellos hacen este establecimiento con encanto, un lugar especial. Sin olvidar a Milo, su adorable perrito, quien te recibe con gran ilusión siempre que regresas. En el check in nos llevaron las maletas y nos recomendaron sitios para comer. Justo en frente del albergue hay una enorme pradera y una pequeña cascada, de cuento! Es el mejor albergue de todo el Camino, sin duda, volvería!
