Hotel & Spa la Porta del Mare

Amazing location with spectacular views from the terrace which was the highlight of this hotel! Breakfast was good too. The only negative was the bed mattress was not acceptable for use, I could feel and hear every spring in it which made sleeping very uncomfortable! We were only there for a few days otherwise I would have asked to move! It’s a shame because the location was great! And I would have given it a 10/10

We were there for 4 days. We needed to change the reservation to accommodate kids, Giuseppe was fantastic. Management and service were excellent. Super clean. Amazing breakfast. Immediate access to the see through private steps. Excellent view from the terrace. We’ll definitely be back with friends.

This hotel is located just above the beach with a fantastic view from the terrace. But our room had absolutely no view at all. Just a tiny little window with a staircase outside so people could look into our room if we did not close the shutter. The room was quite simple. No staff at the hotel when we arrived, so we had to call by phone and wait for a person to check us in.

Pros- Good view of ocean, good location. Cons- None of the amenities listed were there. Parking is street parking so hopefully there’s a spot, if not you’ll have to hunt a space. There was no WiFi signal in the room. Pool and Spa don’t even exist at the property. The rooms aren’t great and you can hear everything on the outside. Not a good place to stay with a family, didn’t have a crib or much space in the rooms to bring your own. I regretted making the booking and didn’t even stay the entire trip. Do not waste your money at this hotel.

Il Paradiso all'improvviso. Hotel direttamente sul mare, dotato di tutti i confort, piscina piccola ma bellissima con annesso solarium, a pochi passi dal centro storico di Tropea. Direttore Sig. Giuseppe di una gentilezza e professionalità uniche, colazione servita su una terrazza vista mare con pietanze dolci e salate. Abbiamo soggiornato nella dependance ed è stato tutto perfetto. Pulizia impeccabile... stentavano a credere che fosse un 3stelle... per la nostra positiva esperienza merita anche la 4 stella.

Fantastico hotel con una spa all’interno e una vista mare incantevole!! A pochissimi metri dal mare e si arriva con facilità al centro storico. Con un buonissimo servizio ristorante e personale molto gentile e disponibile! Ci ritornerò sicuramente!!

Très bon hôtel avec un bon rapport qualité/prix. Le personnel est très gentil, le petit déjeuné est très complet. Une vue à coupée le souffle ! C’est la deuxième fois que je vais dans cet hôtel pour mon séjour à Tropea. Je recommande vivement .
