Great location near the Ganga But hard to get to using a vehicle Suitable for backpackers and solo travelers

Varanasi can be a whirlwind for the senses, but Dwivedi Hotels Sri Omkar Palace became my peaceful oasis. It wasn't just a hotel, it felt like stepping into a friend's warm home. The staff were like family - always ready with a smile and a helping hand. They helped me to bring our luggages by navigate the bustling lanes of Varanasi, Mr Shivam the ***ager recommending hidden gems and ensuring I didn't miss a thing. My room, simple yet comfortable, was my sanctuary after a long day of exploring. But the real star was the view! Waking up to the Ganges flowing by my window was pure magic. Sipping my morning chai on the rooftop restaurant with that view in front of me - well, let's just say it was a million times better than any meditation app! Speaking of the rooftop, it became my favorite spot. The breakfast and dinner meals was above average, and the gentle Ganges breeze was the perfect antidote to the city's heat. Dwivedi Hotels Sri Omkar Palace isn't a luxury stay, but it's something much more special. It's a place that captures the essence of Varanasi - warm, welcoming, and full of stories. It's a place that will stay with you long after you check out.

Apart from the rooms being clean and tidy, the position is fantastic and is basically right on the Ganga river, you walk down to the Ghats (choice of 2 direct access points) in 2 minutes! Perfect for doing a sunrise or sunset Ganga Ceremony boat experience. The rooftop bar/restaurant is fantastic! You can't beat the panoramic views of the Ganga from here. With a cold drink in hand late in the cooler afternoon with the view is perfection! The staff are excellent, you can ask for any kind of assistance, like organise a guide (I recommend Lalit - ask for him!), any information, transfers etc and they are more than happy to help or organise it for you. Yes, you have to walk a little way from the main roads where you get out of your car, but you're in Varanasi - you should be expecting this!! But if you make contact with the staff before hand they can organise your entire transfer from the train or plain and porters will meet you at the car to not only take your bags but guide you the way there.

The hotel is good, clean hotel bang on the ghat. The view of river from river facing rooms is excellent. The food is good and reasonable. Supportive staff is the biggest plus of this hotel; they are available 24x7 (literally 24x7) The hotel requires a good 0.8kms walk to reach as the public mode of transport does not reach there. And everytime you go out you have to walk in and out so consider this point. Although the staff will accompany you and will support people with disability in walking.

If ever you are in Varanasi this is the place to stay . The first rate services and close proximity to Kashi Vishwanath temple and the Dadasgwamedh ghats and ***ikarnika ghats makes it so easy to have access to all the main attractions Varanasi is known for . The Ganga Arti and the the bylines of Varanasi will make you return here again and again . This heritage hotel will give you a the feel of real Varanasi - a chance to discover mazes narrow streets of Varanasi . Rooms are most comfortable with very reasonable tariff - breakfast included . I came here with my daughter and it I was a memorable stay .Try to get the river side rooms on the first floor which have higher Tarriff . The staff here are most cordial and most helpful . Also , they are helpful in arranging your bloat rides gift evening or morning sun rise sunset times - reasonale rates . Taxi can be arranged with extra charges with good drivers . Also , Mr Sanjay Pande and Mr Neeraj were most helpful in arranging our daily activities be it temple darshan (- we did our own onlines process of darshan ticket ) Mr Neeraj is the goldmine of information for best places to eat and to help you get the short cuts thru the narrow lanes of Banaras . Thank you Hotel Omkar Palace for making our stay here so memorable .

Great location near ganga river ghat, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

Moderate hotel with very good location near Ghats. Ganga aarti is nearby and staff was very supportive. Breakfast was okay but dinner was very good specially because we were able to tailor it to our needs. Thanks to Mr. Sen who gave good options and made fresh food for us.
