Residence Corte Grimani

Great location great staff great service. My suite was an apartment with living room Kitchenet bathroom and bedroom. Everything was great. The bed was a little too hard for my liking but once I told Vanessa she added a mattress topper and bed was great. Also I requested a more powerful hair dryer and it was provided immediately. Vanessa thank you for making my stay so enjoyable. The residence is in the best location 4 min walk to st marks square and 4 min walk to Rialto bridge.

Oh my goodness what an absolute delight of a hotel! Spectacular views, airy rooms with beautiful wooden beams, beautiful kitchenette. Vanessa was absolutely wonderful and welcoming and gave us some really good travel trips. Can't fault this place at all. Very surprised to read it's a 3 star place because it felt like a 5 star residence.

Our family of 5 had an amazing 3 night stay in the 1 bedroom apartment set up with 4 beds and 2 bathrooms. The location is fantastic and it was easy to walk anywhere in Venice. But the most amazing part of this experience was Vanessa! She was so friendly and helpful giving us all the tips to give us a great local experience! Highly recommend this location for a more authentic Italian stay! Thank you Vanessa!! You are the best!

We loved our stay at the Corte Grimani! It was in a lovely part of town, very easy to access everything. Less than 20 minutes to walk pretty much anywhere you’d want to go in Venice from that spot. A real highlight was Vanessa at the front desk. She was so helpful with information and recommendations! Extremely knowledgeable and kind and made a big difference. Our room was nice and spacious. The air conditioning worked well. We would absolutely stay there again. Thank you again, Vanessa!

Overall a good stay in the end, though we had a few bumps along the way. Our apartment was very simple and plain, but it turns out we booked a basic category, and the website photos show mostly superior. Our unit was spacious. We found the bed hugely uncomfortable and hard as a rock. However, this was somewhat remedied by the eventual addition of a good mattress topper. It was convenient having a kitchenette but there is one plug in for toaster kettle (which needed to be descaled) and coffee maker so breakfasts took a bit of planning, especially with very little counter space. The washer was worth the extra charge and we used it frequently. Detergent and dishwasher tabs were supplied daily and the housekeeping was fine. The air conditioning worked well, but even though we never opened the windows except to quickly open and close the shutters, we were bitten by mosquitos nightly. The location is very close to both St. marks square and Rialto bridge. Next time we go to Venice we will stay outside of this very congested area. Even getting to the supermarket (several average ones within a few minutes walk) was a stressful, slow experience.

Amazing stay at Residence Corte Grimani. Even before we arrived Vanessa was in touch with us to confirm our expected arrival time and also gave us all info as to how reach there from the airport. She was waiting for us and made our check in so simple. Also gave us a map and recommendations on places to at and what to see and do. She was amazing throughout our stay and very friendly. The apartment itself was cosy and comfortable. Beds were big and we had a pleasant sleep. Bathroom was fully stocked with all amenities and water pressure was good. Hot water available at all times. One evening there was no hot water and the owner came in hurriedly to sort it out which we were very pleased with. She was very friendly and sked us every day if all ok. The kitchen had everything and it was convenient for us to have breakfast before we started our day. If we go back to Venice we will definitely stay there and will also recommend this place to our family and friends.

I never leave reviews. Ever. But our experience here was so noteworthy that I must. To begin, Vanessa is a gem. We IMMEDIATELY felt like family. She makes all of her guests feel comfortable and welcome. She is funny, kind, tough, knowledgeable, but most of all, she looks out for her people. When she found out we had to drag our 8337738272737282 suitcases from the Rialto stop despite being told we’d be dropped off closer, she grabbed the phone, made 2 phone calls, canceled the original service, and hired a new one for my inlaws who were arriving later that day. It was magic. As for the hotel itself- perfection! It was quiet, so clean, in a fantastic location, and comfortably housed my family of four and my in-laws In the same apartment while allowing us our own space. I hope to go back to Venice. I now count it one of my favorite places in the world, and if I do, it is NO question that I will return here (or go wherever Vanessa is at that time).

I wrote last October about this amazing Hotel. I feel I did not give the credit to Mrs. Alberta. Her energy and enthusiasm runs her Hotel to the highest of perfection. Her staff are Angels who perform the jobs to the maximum level. Like herself comes naturally. I told her before leaving "They clean under the beds!!!. Well equipped apartment in the absolute heart of Venice! The owner was so welcoming and couldn't hold back from making great suggestions for dining and exploring. We loved Venice and would love to return in the future. I would thoroughly recommend these apartments and just book a water taxi from the airport for an easy and beautiful door to door journey.Yes you will get lost at least a couple of times but it's all part of the experience
