Hotel Ca' Dogaressa

We. We’re greeted at the door by name. The. Nice gentleman gave me the most excellent help. I have never been welcomed this well before.

Very nice boutique-style hotel located close to the train station and various dining options. The staff were super kind providing us with local recommendations. The room was just beautiful, perfectly decorated and clean. Right along main canal and ~20 min walk to St. Mark’s square, which was perfect to avoid all the touristy bustle; our only regret is not being able to spend more time at this hotel!

It is in a nice location not too far from the train station. There are several restaurants and bars nearby.

The room is spacious with big windows. The view from the window extremely beautiful. You can see the canal and in front of the hotel has many restaurants . There is also taxi boat in front the hotel. The most important is the service is very friendly and nice .

Our stay was pleasant overall. One problem was that they hotel sent messages in Italian and I asked them to translate to English to no avail. They wanted us to check in and send documents ahead to get a code to enter upon arrival as no one was actually there to greet us. We were at sea on a Cruise and unable to check in so we went to the deli on the corner and he called them to let us in.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Our room was quite large with elaborate decor. It walked right out to the canal with restaurants and shopping very close. We would stay here again. Thank you!!!!

Great hotel for a base easy to get to on the water taxi from the airport and also close to the train station. The staff are all really helpful and the hotel is spotlessly clean. There is a little cafe next door and a few restaurants on the same street. Lots more a 10-15 walk away or you can get the water bus - we walked most places but got a day pass for the further away places/other island. The room was gorgeous, we had a canal view - only downside was the bed was very hard!

Good: -Very nice and comfortable room. -Reception till 20:00, so make sure you have a pass. -Friendly personnel and great local to delicious treats. -Very quiet hotel. -2 min from public transport. Bad: -Was not a comfy pillow. -Check-in at 14:00 and check-out at 11:00. Uncomfortable time for me ;) Need to walk with luggage around if you come early morning.

We just left Ca' Dogaressa in Venice, Italy. The service from Fabio was extraordinary. He ensured our stay was exceptional with attention to detail and a friendly demeanor. The spacious room had comfortable furnishings and tasteful decor, offering a delightful retreat. The hotel's high cleanliness level provided peace of mind, and as Shabbat observers, we appreciated the accommodation for our religious practices. Surprisingly, our room was ready before check-in time. Ca' Dogaressa exceeded our expectations, offering outstanding service, cleanliness, and comfort. Highly recommended for a memorable stay in Venice, Italy. POI: It’s in 4 minutes walking distance of GAM GAM the kosher restaurant where we ate our Shabbat meals & 6 minutes from the main synagogue at the Jewish ghetto. (10 minutes from Chabad & Ba’Ghetto restaurant).
