Ego' Boutique Hotel - the Silk Road

We loved the Ego Boutique hotel, the entire staff is so lovely, and the breakfast is perfect, and a beautiful variety. The breakfast room has a beautiful view to the canal and it was one of the highlights of staying there. The hotel is right by the Rialto bridge and several restaurants are steps away by the water. I loved this hotel and the experience.

We had hoped for a canal view room but they were all sold out. We were given the Luna room. During our three day stay we walked by the open door (housekeeper) of a canal view room and actually preferred our Luna room. The hotel has a great location right next to the boat taxi drop off from the airport (don’t think the added expense of a private taxi is worth it unless you have a large group). The location is great for walking to many sites and restaurants. The bed was one of the most comfortable during our six weeks of Europe. The sheets were nice and the toiletries even had Hermes soap. The breakfast was very good and served by an excellent staff in a room over the grand canal. During our stay we were often the only people in the breakfast room. I believe there was an option of having breakfast in your own room. We really enjoyed the vibe of the Marco Polo theme in the decorations. It was really fun. Highly recommend this hotel. Our only very very small negative was the room was small with no drawers to unpack our luggage. There was a small closet with hangers. Front desk was great with much helpful information (eg restaurants).

Amazing location very nice room and very king staff breakfast was wonderful the view too really fantastic stay perfect location to explore Venice authentic and charming hotel we will come back without any doubt ! Thank you for this unforgettable experience

My second trip to Venice.. Great location and view from the breakfast room was amazing. Good size rooms and bathroom. Comfy and a large round bed in the room was great. There is a number of nice features in the hotel from small statues to old venice style interior.

We had a romantic stay at Ego Boutique Hotel. The location just next to Rialto bridge is great. The Imperial suite was huge and the double jacuzzi was a must. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok but could be improved in terms of quantity. The only problem we had was the cold weather outside early may, and no central heating seems to be allowed in Venice at that period. So, we had to ask for electric heaters in our bathroom and bedroom. My advice : use the taxi-boat to travel from the airport to the hotel, this will save you from dragging your suitcase through the crowded streets of Venice !

This hotel is quirky, beautiful and very comfortable. The staff were accomodating and vey helpful. We stayed 3 nights and were looked after superbly. The breakfast had multiple choices and the presentation and service was impeccable. Our room had everything we needed including tea and coffee, bath robes and slippers. The TV service and WiFi were great.
