Room had a musty smell and even though there were very few cars in the garage we had loud neighbors. The sheets and bathroom were clean and so was the rest of the hotel. I would call it fine- but probably not my first choice if I were in the area again.

Housekeeping staff were great. Clean. Solid breakfasts. Pool and hot tub nice. NOISE! Remodel of the exterior was happening right outside our room starting at 7:57 when we get to bed at 2 AM. Last night 2:30 to 4 AM the most foul mouthed and noisy verbal altercation I have ever had the misfortune of hearing. We will never stay here again.

lots of construction being done. Even though it is right next to the train tracks and the freeway, it was quiet when we slept. close to the beach, close to downtown and close to the fairgrounds and the amtrak station. we took the amtrak up from LA and what a nice way to travel and only 0.8 miles from the train station and the fairgrounds.

I stay here every time I’m in Ventura. I’ve progressively seen the construction happening. Very exciting. But this trip was disappointing. One of the table side lamps wasn’t working and the TV was not working either. I made the comment to the gentleman who checked me in moments after I got into my room and asked if it could get taken care of. And it never did. Very disappointing. I think it’s time I check out different options.

Love this hotel for my business stays !
They are continually improving and location is fantastic. Easy walk to the ocean and downtown. Ventura is perfect for shopping and eating. Recommend Cafe Fiore.

This hotel offers clean rooms with comfortable beds. The rooms look newly remodeled with new bathroom fixtures. Housekeeping available every day, but request in advance when checking in. Plenty of covered parking. No Resort Fees. No noise is heard from outside, even with being adjacent to a freeway and train tracks.

Clean comfortable and spacious. Staff was very friendly. Very close to Ventura theater, 5 minute walk if that. It is right next to freeway, only reason I didn’t give 5 stars. Noise wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be, dark window shade blocked it pretty well. Will definitely stay here again if I go to another concert at Ventura Theater.
